What are they putting up in the South Stand? Will it be one of those big TV screens showing replays - personally not keen on that! Or should we go back to the retro days and have the old ABCDEFG half time board from the back of the Roker End!! Anyone got any ideas or am I slow off the mark and we've alrerady been told but I didn't read it!!
A big screen, which it is to be, would be fantastic imo and bring the SOL bang up to date with other top sporting venues.
My understanding (from SMB it is true so may be rubbish!) is that we are getting big screens on both stands in time for the Liverpool game. And about time too, our scoreboards were so old fashioned and well past needing an update to 21st century.
I posted last week about this, my brother in law is fitting them and they ar eon route from China two media screens to show highlights not replays. He is there now and work is commencing to do the structures now
Cool (the "Highlights not replays" part) may keep more people in the main part of the ground at half time too! Apologies for missing your post last week - was very busy - am on "wind down" to holiday this week so diary is comletely empty and I've finished eveything I need to do before I go at dinner time tomorrow!!
I', sadly going nowhere as exotic as that - Cornwall!!! Still nice little family holiday with my lovely wife and 2 children - be a nice break
