Well the first positive thing is that he says Cabaye has a big part to play in his plans. So he's most likely going to tell Ashley this, and unless we receive a ridiculous bid, he'll be staying.

15m will be rejected. If they go up to 20m I reckon Ashley will push them to go higher.

He says everyone looks fine, fitness and injuries wise, and Tiote is likely to be fit for Aston Villa. <diva>

Everyone is completely fit and healthy, apart from Tiote who just needs to rest and train. :D

    ----------------------------------------------------------

So it seems morale is good around the camp.

I think we can personally feel comfortable about the situation. It's obvious that one of our players would have been eventually linked away.

Arsenal wanting replacements for Song was obvious, Tiote plays in Songs position, and Tiote is one of the better DM's in the league.

Arsenal already have Carzola and Arteta. Unless they can get Cabaye for 12-15m, I doubt they'll bother. Why would they need to urgently sign Cabaye and be willing to pay 20m+ for him?

Bit of a pointless article because it's hardly riveting stuff from Pardew. It's just standard press interview answers. He's hardly likely to say everyone is tired already and our best player isn't worth keeping!

The Tiote and Cabaye issue has been discussed to the death already. I am certain they wouldn't be sold. The only question that remains is who, if any(and it better be), will we add to the squad.

My main concern is Tiote getting rid of his niggles and Cabaye getting up to speed as he is blatantly miles behind at present after no pre season. Cisse too needs game time and a goal.

The transfer stuff just rolls on and on. People never seem to learn this is just all part and parcel of the game. Hopefully we'll keep everyone but if we lose one the world isn't going to cave in.

Maybe it has been, but it's good to know that everyone is fit, except for Tiote who'll be fit for Villa.

I was sick about hearing how everyone was injured!

Ba and Cisse doubtful, Ben Arfa out, Tiote has a knock, Cabaye has a knock, Colo facing late test.

    lol
