You must've expected one of these to crop up soon, because of the flawed points system I couldn't get an Arsenal ticket before they sold out despite having been a season ticket holder and going to some 15 away games a season for years just because I lost the points on the City game I couldn't afford! So cheers Nicola, but if anyone knows of a ticket/s going spare i would much appreciate a shout, I've been buzzing for Arsenal away for years. Cheers!
Doesnt look like it, all home end has sold out also. i thought there was some 10% rule? which both City & the gunners havnt given us!
The percentage rule is only in cup games, they could give us 5 away tickets if they wanted to as far as I know, it is a pathetic allocation though
This is pretty much my specialist subject now... For teams with over 30,000 capacity, they have to give 3,000 For teams with under 30,000 capacity, they have to give 10%
Tell me about it, I went to Ciry so had the points but can't go to the Arse due to wedding attendance (not mine) and its only 15mins on the train from me !!
Same here creighton. I'm really miffed that people who went to the City game get president over people like me and other fans who have been to every home game (including all the pre-season friendlies) for years, away games up and down the country and have been season ticket holders through the crap that was administration/League 1 etc. I guess now because I couldn't get tickets for Arsenal, that will put me back of the queue for Everton. And then West Ham etc. I'm tempted to say I'll be glad to go back to the Championship if this is how they're going to run the Premier league fixtures.
I feel for anyone that wanted to go but couldn't get a ticket. I was lucky and managed to get in the online queue and got onto the site at 9:30am yesterday to get mine. It is tough, I remember when we got to the 2003 FA Cup Final. I lived in Wigan and didn't have a season ticket. I went to 5 or 6 home games and about 12 away games that season. The criteria for Cup tickets was 8 home games. I ended up having to pay £705 for my final ticket on a web site for some promo company and it ende up being an FA hospitality one ... crooks!
I was in the online queue as well from half 8 then suddenly update: sold out. Gutted to say the least, and that's my thoughts exactly regarding being bottom of the heap for Everton away, it'll carry on for every away game now, typical. Won't know what to do with myself with all the extra cash I'll have
Went to Stevenage in midweek but for some reason that dosen't warrent any loyalty points????? If we progress in this competition and end up getting Arsenal away for example, my trip to Stevenage counts for nothing when everybody is clamouring for tickets.
Weren't the Stevenage tickets bought direct from the home club...presume it wouldn't go on our data base. Would expect Wednesday tickets to be worth loyalty points.
Your right I did buy tickets from Stevenage website...why the tickets were sold like that, I haven't a clue, have never had to buy away tickets from the home club before!! Just a bit annoying with this new loyalty scheme that a less glamourous game at Stevenage counted for nothing.
For some strange reason I've always been in the home end when Saints play away at Arsenal. I've been there so many times the home fans always remember me and my Dad when we go there...love it when we score. Shortest celebration known to mankind
