QPR are about to sign Julio Cesar as their new number 1 keeper, after agreeing terms of £80K per week, poor old Rob will be relegated to the bench!
absolutely ridiculous! i'm not greeno's biggest fan but he's a perfectly good keeper who has made a couple of errors. and i tell you what, if anyone has seen how crap julio cesar has very rapidly become, i wouldn't put it past them having to replace him as well in january. qpr are the embodiment of how NOT to run a football club
Read an laugh more like hahaha. I trust sky over them and apparently he is at Loftus road to discuss personal terms now to sign a four year deal . Yes I have watches inter quite a few times and to say julio has declined is ridiculous . We need to sign a new keeper we have green who is good but unreliable 8games 6 errors leading to goals. Cerny who has said he can't play a lot due to injuries . Murphy who is not up to te standard needed. I do love all this crap what people say about who we sign . prime example on a stoke board they was laughing at us trying to sign Dawson the moment they heard they was they was loving it great signing ect.
I'm amazed at the sheer incompetence being displayed by the management of QPR and that's pretty rich come from an Ipswich fan!
I just want to know whos in charge of the transfer policy. Surely Sparky isn't signing these players?
http://m.fcinternews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=90637 Inter Milan news says he will earn 2.5 mil a year hardly the 80k the bloody metro is spouting lol.
i love the fact you're proud your club is ONLY going to pay a declining keeper £2.5m a year **** me, some qpr fans do themselves no favours whatsoever! plus, when you add in the bonuses and his undoubted signing on fee, i'd suggest it will equate to £80k a week over time. and yes, i stand by what i say about him declining. he's still a good keeper but he was world class three years ago - not any more he isn't and the number of goals he gifted opponents last year would suggest it won't be easy to turn his form around.
also, i think someone like dawson would be a good signing for qpr or any lower half team for that matter. its not the player in his case, its the farcical fee involved! £9m was being quoted? no wonder spurs wanted to sell him for that! i wouldn't have minded him at carrow road but £4m absolute tops for a player of his ability and injury record.
Why would he be declining ? Man u signed van dar sar at the age of 32 he was still world class when he retired............ Think what you want people outside of the qpr fan base just see pompy. Looking forward to the next few year and beyond we will not be pompy.
also, what happened to the qpr fan saying that rob green was the best keeper in england when they signed him?
I just find the QPR transfer policy so maddening. I find it bizzare that they patch the same problems with the same solutions again and again and again. So fair enough, they've got a bit more cash than us, but take the Lucas Biglia guy we were looking at last week. He's mid twenties, highly rated and maybe we couldn't quite afford him. Why would QPR not isolate such a player? Why don't they have a punt of Scott Sinclair or Adam Johnson? These are good players, that according to their "EPIC WEALTH" they could afford, so why are they in for the likes of Joe Cole and Andy Johnson? They either have a board thats convinced they need to buy names to promote their "Brand" abroad or a scouting network thats found it's way into Daves secret Booze cabinet and they're all playing championship manager 2004. The only QPR player signed that I genuinely thought "Fair Play" was Hoilett, he tore us a new one when he was at blackburn last year but when I saw him on saturday he looked confused. Genuinely Confused. So was I.
We are talking with kurt zouma who is 17 and plays in ligue 1 first team. Also a zambia forward who is 21 we har offered a contract to he is talking it over highly rated. Stephane mbia who is 26. Diakite who has signed he is 22 and hoilett we have also given new contracts to some of our younger players.
