If he can get through these next few games without being injured we'll have a pretty good chance at moving him on to another club. Im actually quite surprised he's managed to play half a season or so and stay fit.

He's put in a good few performances too for Ipswich, cant do him any harm.

Where do you think he'll end up next season ? I think/hope one of the 3 teams that go up (if we arnt included) will take a chance on him.

    Hope I haven't jinxed him :emoticon-0107-sweat

There is pretty much no chance of him playing for us again, Oli has more of a chance but i doubt he will to. If we manage to get them both of our books with no wages left we will have done amazingly, so praise AP for that if it comes off!

    It was a brilliant goal.

They're still screwed though, 4-1 down.

aye its game over for Ipswich. still, scoring goals like that can only make it easier for us to shift him :)

    5 goals for Bullard now.

I know we are doing so much better without him but sometimes I think: what if....

Then I think of how he took the pi** out of our club......

    Sounds like he's already gone.

The former Fulham and Hull player then volleyed narrowly wide before finally hitting the mark 12 minutes from the end.

To be honest, I don't care where he ends up next season. He can stay fit and perform for another club so he obviously wants to be off. Bullard's stay has turned out to be an ill-fated business and if a summer transfer means he goes for a small loss then maybe the club should just bite the bullet and get rid.

We're way beyond a small loss, he's cost us over £10M so far.

Yeah I'd rather one of the best players in the league played for us.

Weird that I want the club to do well on the pitch, I know.

Well, what would you do. You are in the twilight of your career. You have dodgy knees and have a contract with 2 and a half years on it at 40-50,000 quid per week. Is another Club going to offer you anywhere near that amount. No! There's 5 million quid at stake here. Would you give that amount up? So what's the future. Ipswich want him but not at that amount so may well offer another years loan. It's a much safer bet - if he gets injured then back he goes to us. Jimmy might fool around but he is no-body's fool and whereas he states that 'money isn't everything' it is pretty close to it and he will want as much as possible in his final year or two of his career. There are no more 'glory days' for Jimmy he is playing out his career in return for money and that's all there is to it. Sentiment goes out of the window at this stage of your career so what is the point of throwing away 3 million quid just to get a game. Would you give up your current job to take another one at half (or a third) of what you are getting now just to please your current employers? C'mon!
