As he has just signed a year's extension I doubt that happening.

Fox has been playing very well this season, to be fair.I'm not his biggest fan, but he has improved a lot.

He won't be going anywhere might, so just enjoy watching play for the mighty saints every week <ok>.

Drink driving is a big thing! A dead child on the Island this week proves that.

Don't know why people are saying it's not a big thing, he could have hurt or killed himself, or innocent civilian. He should be fined a few weeks wages and shoved in the reserves for a bit.

I'm not a Guly hater, I quite like him as a player.I think he has been a great player for us and I can't stand the Guly haters. He can pass, he has skill and flair, these are the traits that I enjoy in a player.

Drunk driving is unacceptable in my opinion. You are putting the well being of yourself and most importantly the well being of other drivers and pedestrians.

Not a huge deal until someone gets killed......

But, saying that, the lynch mob will take any opportunity to get on Guly's back sadly. Watch Mitch Le Tissier get apoplectic with rage now.....

Ok maybe I over reacted a bit but if it was anyone else like Lallana and Lambert eveyone would say oh well lets move on. But as it's Guly people want the book thrown at him. It is a serious offence, but prison is over the top. A big fine and a lengthy ban will be fine.

Like everyone I'm assuming it's true, but there is a little matter of result of blood test and appearing in court. He should have known better at his age, but anything the club does will be done privately and behind closed doors (just prejudging what Nigel will say).

I'm not a xenophobe or a racist so I wouldn't apply different criteria to a certain ethnic group, neither am I bias I'm not like that.

If it was Lambert, Lallana, Schneiderlin or even Adkins I'd still be disappointed in the same way that I am with Guly.

What he did was stupid and selfish and also all the rest , but some people must live very sheltered lives .
If someone was injured then this would be a completely different story .

So if we condemn potentially lethal behaviour we lead sheltered lives?

If someone had been injured then Guly's actions would have been exactly the same, so why does he deserve slack because he was fortunate enough not to kill someone?

It's far more likely like the 99% of drunk driving cases where he's a little tiny bit over the limit. Of course it's not right but some people are heavily overreacting to this.

It is quite a big thing, and I hope (if guilty - I haven't actually read the story) he is punished accordingly. However I find it incredible that the anti-Guly brigade (especially on Twitter) are using this to support their view that he shouldn't be in the team. Something tells me that had it been Lambert or Lallana who had been drink-driving, they wouldn't be feeling so strongly about off-loading them to another club in a blink of an eye.

Not really. You shouldn't drink and drive. Now whether or not that should apply even more to someone in a perceived position of influence or responsibility regarding kids (both in the club and those who hero worship a footballer) is a debateable point, but to have been stopped by the police and breathalysed he would *likely* have been doing something a little bit daft with regard to his driving?

I didn't say you should - however you shouldn't be released from your club and stuck in prison for a million years for it either. It's probably quite a common offence for footballers too, out late at night after drinking. You just don't hear of most of them.
