    Good Morning Everyone

    Everyone had a good break?

Oxford make the long trip up north for the second round of the Capital One Cup with Michael Duberry in their side. We shoul;dn't have too many problems there then!!! What kinda reception will Dubs get tonight. If you remember rightly, he was mixed up in the aftermath of the Bowyer / Woodgate scandel and believe there was talk of perverting the cause of justice.

Which ex players haver you, or would you boo at Elland Road and why. Which ones are the worst. Would it have been Cantona, Nicholls or Kewell, who was worse?

Diouf may snub Leeds short term contract, as he is a wanted man. There are a few clubs abroad who are tracking his movements. Should we sign him, if we can? Has your opinion of him changed in the past few weeks?

Anyone going to the game tonight?

    M.O.T

    Song of the day anyone?

    Morning.

Dubbery is injured and wont play tonight. If he had played I would have clapped at his name and when he came on the field, he wasn't the greatest player to play for the club, but at least he was a decent man compared to the two twats that still to this day get some Leeds supporters hero worship!
I hate Bowyer, probably more than I hate Kewell and Woodgate is just a thick twat who would follow a monkey if it asked him. Both players deserve a 'boo' thrown at them, as well as other heavier items.

Fair play boab. I know some Leeds fans that thought Dubes did the dirty, and grassed on Bowyer and Woodgate

    Morning all,

Crikey Boab, we agree again! This'll need to stop ....

My main recollection of Dubious was his goal-line clearances, of which there were many. On the face of it, this seems like a marvellous legacy, until you realise it was always his fault that we needed such clearances. He just didn't get the offside rule & played on so many strikers. As you say Boab, decent guy, crap player.

Two weeks back I would have said sign EHD - However after watching him versus Wolves I was not too impressed, he was okay but not worth anything longer than a short term contract, not with his reputation to consider as well. Saying that I also believe the T/O is near to dead, if that is the case who else can we get who is free and better than him? - #Worried

Morning all. Not sure I'd boo Bowyer. Nasty little man, but he did okay on the pitch for us. Regretfully, so did Kewell, but we got ripped off when he left. Overall, deserves a boo. Nicholls deserves to be roundly booed. His career has clearly gone well sice he left us.

    Morning all <ok>

If theres no cash to play with signing Diouf up could be a very important move. I mean, we arent going to get anyone else in to play for peanuts unless one of our Youth team is ready to step up and become a squad player?

The upshot of it is if we can afford to sign someone else let Diouf go. We clearly cant afford to do that at the moment so I would like us to sign him up on a short term basis.

Diouf looks unfit to me at the moment as well. Cant imagine teams are knocking down doors to speak to him given his track record & the fact he has been without a club for a while. Donny wasnt paying him a fortune either so I think this is all agent talk to bump up Warnocks offer.

    Morning All,

    John Sheridan sacked by Chesterfield...

As a player, Sheridan was great. He scored 3 or four goals directly from corners, and also took a wicked free kick.

Carra, not sure on that, but I too would be interested to know how Drury played !!!

Honestly couldn't care if Diouf signs of not but I'd rather have a player sign than on a loan.

3 games in and there's already been a sacking, they really don't give managers much time. I expect Rogers to be sacked by Liverpool by Xmas though.

Depressing to admit, but Diouff at the moment looks useful enough to warrant a contract to the end of the season & then assess where we are & how much money we have to play with. He's putting himself about, doing okay, & keeping out of trouble. His fitness is coming. So regretfully, why not?

I think you're wrong there. I predict a long association. It's not just the return of the passing, it's the whole Liverpool of the past thing he's reviving. He's restored the red nets (apparently significant!), and no doubt will develop a boot room. I think they love him now, and they'll love him even more once he gets his own team out there, and the club running the way he wants it.

Jock I think the fans will turn on him if the results don't go their way TBH. They've not go the easiest run ahead of them either plus he's over spent on Joe Allen as well.

Also I don't see Lambert lasting long at Villa

Lambert's move to Villa was silly. Hardly a markedly bigger club than Norwich.

Once Rodgers has got Liverpool playing the way he wants (pass & move, ball on the floor etc), I think the fans will love him, & with the ability to buy slightly better players than he had at Swansea, I think they will be a real handful.

Don't like EHD at all, he has done the same crap over and over again, never seems to learn from his off the field mistakes, however as we are in dire need of any creativity I would take him on a 12 month contract and fast. The thoughs of having 1 or 2 injuries and him leaving.

Lets leave Diouf in the shop window he can play a few games and give it 100% for the good of Leeds United (whilst trying to get a contract), if someone takes him off us in a couple of months then good luck to all concerned.

We can always play White, Varney, Norris or Green in his position, we also have Nunez and Rodgers available.
If we don't like these options we can try Sanchez Payne, Jordan Snodin, Dominic Poleon, Nathan Turner or Jordan Snodin from the reserves.

Shaun Wright Phillips may still be on the cards (if QPR are not feeling spiteful towards Neil & Paddy).
Plus I am sure Liverpool would be happy to put Joe Cole in the shop window at Leeds if we were willing pay 10k a week towards his wages.

Lets not rush to pay Diouf a wage that we may regret.

    Just a thought..
