No wonder Rodgers took the blame for Skrtel's mistake yesterday, if he blamed Skrtel I think Rodgers may have had a "little accident".
There is a completely different cadence required when you talk to kids/young players and when you talk to experienced players. If I was Rodgers, I would have blamed Kenny for Skrtel's mistake.
Sterling seems like a bit of a dick tbh. Then again most people are a bit of a knob at 17!!! I was and I haven't looked back - no hold on that didn't come out right!!
Yes course he does, just stands much further away while he's saying it Seriously though I'm sure the experianced players know what respect is about, and don't get me wrong I'm sure ALL the youngsters are the same but setting ground rules never a bad thing when you're new to a job.
I have a great belief in doing things properly and I do think that BR will soon have your club climbing back towards the top of the League. Reckon you have a good'un there.
Hopefully whilst everyone was dressed. Wouldn't want to see Shelvey in the buff. May hold onto cable a little longer to watch the series... was switching to internet; only TV. Games I can always catch online... don't know if that series will be.
If you've noticed since Raheem Sterling was slammed by Brendan Rodgers in front of the others, he's been dynamite. It just needed to be done.
does anyone actually believe that skrtel thinks for one second that he was not to blame - knowing skrtel he probably kicked himself till he dropped
Did anyone see the bbc panaroma documentary about barcelona a few years back, its brilliant, its follows the new president of barca (roselli i think?) for a year showing him trying to rebuild the team and brand, the year i think rafa won the league with valencia. Its abit more boardroom than this 'being liverpool' but really interesting (especially for fm geeks like me) you see the board discussing what to bid for ronaldinho; saying we should bid x amount because man u have bid x amount. It follows the president for the year and he does allsorts like dealing with the clubs ultras and nearly being attacked and getting death threats. I watched it when it was originally on but i watched it again last year, online on youtube in parts i think so you can probably find it somewhere on the net. A must watch for anyone interested in how the big clubs are run.
