I was just listening to SkySports and James Featherstone was on (Agent).

I googled him and came across an article where he was involved with the Charlie Adam to Liverpool / Spurs bid last summer - IH then got involved and started his usual antics.

This is v similar with our approach to Matt Phillips - we said we spoke with IH and their Chairman - same as last year with Charlie Adam.

If we sign him or not I really hope we sue the odius little ****er for slander.

Holloway's idea of an illegal approach is somewhat different to everyone elses
He sees anyone making an enquiry not instigated by him or his friendly agents as illegal ie " unwanted" and makes such a fuss that it scares people off. Sure NC is made of stronger stuff

Ian hollow ays perception of tapping up is; any team that isn't managed by him, bidding for one of his players.

I can not believe that Ince was released by Liverpool only 1 and half years ago. Are they ****ing blind? the kid has quality, yet they but that donkey Downing when they have Ince in the youth team. Unfuckingbelievable

Would love to see Holloways blood pressure if we did
Must be pretty bad as Swansea appear to be sniffing about Tom Ince

My guess is it's his attitude not his ability. His Dad was a hothead in his youth I recall.

He may have been but with the boy's talent and Nigel to coerce the best from him he could be the answer to our prayers.

Yes not saying he would be a bad signing just guessing why Liverpool offloaded him.

The man's an ass - I hope his chairman can't resist the offers and sells Ince and Phillips from under Holloway's nose, just to see him actually explode live on TV

My understanding is that Liverpool wanted to keep Ince but wouldn't allow him back out on loan until he signed a new contract, as he was in his last year. So, he waited till his contract expired and Blackpool snapped him up. I think Ince didn't want to sign a new contract as he didn't believe Liverpool would play him.

Well, regardless whether we get Ince/Phillips I think the Emmanuel Mayuka or Rameriez shows the class of player we are really looking for ad the money we will spend for the right player. I am not convinced we were totally serious about Phillips - I mean I think he was back up for Rameriez and to force the hand of Bologna...

He was like a west country version of Dennis Wise in his playing days.
