Thought the team were going to get the " Rough treatment " from a suspect QPR team right out of the gates . Michu , Chico Flores weren't having any of it & were dishing out more than we were taking . Considering they are replacing Caulker & Sig , which they are doing well , they possess more of an aggressive nature that was lacking on past teams , an important bonus IMO .

I agree with you they are more than capable of dealing with the idiots in the Prem. If their performances keep up, they are going to get baited, Nolan was an example from this past Saturday. It's critical that they take it in their stride and hit back where and how it matters.

Chico, Michu and De Guzman are all pretty robust and that's definitely what's been missing from our team. Can't see those guys getting bullied this season. Throw Agustien into the mix and our midfield has some beasts!

Yeah, I've got to admit that I had concerns about the new signings adapting to the physicality of British football but so far the lads have shown that they definitely can fight their corner; and Michu and Chico are well built enough to do it. My worry now is that they might go OTT, so I hope that Laudrup can get them to control their Latin temperaments. And, as Knack says, put Augustien in there and we've got some serious beef in the team.

Come to that, Ki couldn't be described as diminutive. I think I read somewhere that he's about 6ft 2". Anyone know? If that's true and he's got some strength to go with it, teams will find it harder to bully us which is no bad thing.

Ya .. If you throw in Ki for Allen , were tougher again . I feel less stressed at the thought of playing the " Scare tactic " teams like Stoke , Norwich & Queens Park this season

From the footage I've seen of Ki he looks like he can ride a tackle and is definitely an improvement on Allen in skill and size.
