Surprise Signing

Just got that feeling we make spring a surprise pre weekend

Obviously Dempsey n Sturridge are most likely, but with Dempsey being linked with Sunderland, BR may spring a surprise.
Wouldnt be surprised to see us nip in for one of the players are competitors are being linked with

 

Maybe you're right, maybe he will pull another curve ball like he did with Assaidi.

 

I reckon we will sign another unknown in the next couple of days. And then probably Dempsey and someone else on deadline day.

 

If we signed Dempsey or even Sturridge, it would hardly be a 'surprise signing'.

 

I hope we stay clear of Sturridge, lazy selfish striker, he is. Owen would be a surprise.

Guess so! Why would we sell Sturridge when he's our only backup striker?

 

You may sell him if you sign someone else, I do think you need better back up to Torres though.

Moses maybe? To be fair, I can't make my mind up on Sturridge. He can be good and brilliant at times, a talent wasted at chelsea. Then the other side of the coin, where he is a complete dick, a talent perfectly suited at chelsea.

 

Woudn't surprise me if we went and bought Cavani for £30m on deadline day.

Don't know tbh, I think a lot of us expected that to be the case, but Brendan likes Suarez up the middle for the most part. Saying that though, Brendan makes them all rotate and try to be as fluid as possible.
