    OK fair enough.

I just don't get why normal rational people (and elmo) are still willing to believe without question everything that big Gary and his cronies utter, despite previous form for over egging the pudding and general bollocks spouting. This is no time for blind faithh in ANYONE.

    Blind faith. Much.

There is a saying, and it is a correct one, rather than one that can be an opinion with a secondary opposite saying.

    "The customer is King."

Would you like a lesson in understanding what that means? And why it is so important?

Or will you continue with your stupid and incorrect arguments and assertions?

If it is homespun wisdom you want "You can fool some of the people, some of the time. But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time". The 25.000 plus at ER next weekend are not fooled by LUST.

There is nothing including Bates that is worth risking killing the club for. The 3000? who are staying away for the purpose of protest are in danger of throwing the baby out with the bath water.

A lot of them sure as hell are fooled by Bates. Fooling some of the people some of the time saying would apply more accurately to a number of Leeds fans over the years. Can guarantee you one thing, supporters of a club like Newcastle would have taken to the streets long before their club was in a mess like ours. Even Blackburn, with **** all support are not afraid to make their feelings known against owners and management. Make you wonder whats wrong with a lot of ours

Just my take on it and only an opinion - We have been out of the top flight too long. Young lads at school want to support a winning team, yes glory hunting but they want to support what is fashionable. I would imagine the majority of Leeds supporters are now aged between 35 and 55 I know I am in that bracket and the several I know who support Leeds and live local to me are also in that age range.

When I was growing up in Northampton you could walk down the street and see Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Arsenal even Ipswich and Spurs shirts being worn by all the lads. Now all I see is Manchester and Chelsea with a few Liverpool and Arsenal. I don't see any lads wearing a Leeds shirt or a team out of the top flight. There are no new Leeds supporters coming through, not outside of Leeds anyway.

Even my Brother-in-law who is avid Leeds and moved to Northampton from Dewsbury just 5 years or so ago is having problems as his son doesn't want to go to watch them with him, he wants to support Chelsea.

So take us middle aged core of supporters, throw in the fact that we are in a recession, we have everyday life events that drain and test us, we are in an age bracket where there are more important things in life than football and as much as I love Leeds Utd there are more important issues for me in life.

While I want Bates out it would take a very well organised and coordinated event to make me travel from Northampton to Leeds to participate and then it isn't something I would be able to do on a regular basis.

Remember, just my opinion and take on it <ok>

Well said and I hope for the good of all Leeds fans, those of us trusting LUST are correct. That is in no way so we can say we told you so, but the betterment of the club, assuming take over goes ahead of course

Chippy, where do you think all this "readily available" information online came from? I say you might want to look at where the press get all their information about the TO.

Exactly. Most if not all the press stuff was published 48 hours after the Lust lads discussed it on waccoe.

Who knows. It's still ongoing. Anyone who thought this could be tied up in a few days given the multi million pound nature of the deal and having to sort due diligence with multiple spurious off shore companies was not living in the real world. But without LUST we wouldnt have any info. What has club issued in last two months in terms of statements? Nothing same as yep or daily rags

LUST aren't interested in speeding up the TO, I doubt anything they've done so far has changed things either way, however they're the only reliable source of information we have and were a significant factor in starting this whole process off in the first place.

So your answer is just shut up and continue paying over the odds to watch what's on the pitch?

Last I read, over 5,000 fans have signed on with LUST. Are you aware of a larger group of Leeds fans, as I am not?

Ah, the good old "cause and effect" fallacious argument.

So Ken Bates is a misunderstood benevolent owner who has done everything in the best interests of the club and its fans? Really?

    Wow, talk about being deluded...
