I think he obviously caused all the fuss because he wanted the move to Liverpool but after Liverpool's signing of the lad from the dutch league I think thats him off there shopping list now and there is no way back for him at Fulham. We wouldn't want him, doesn't fit in with our transfer policy. Plus wouldn't want a player who would consider moving to my club as 'the lesser of two evils' as it were. Sunderland aren't really a step up from Fulham but he's shot himself in the foot here and made a right dick out of himself and may not have a choice it seems. Shame, he could probably have gotten a transfer to a big club after his one good season if he had of been a bit luckier and a bit less of a cock.

Think this is all fair comment, bar the 'lesser of 2 evils' part. We weren't interested until it became apparent he is available, then he becomes a quality, influential, goalscorer, available, and a possible further improvement to our team. We're a step up from Fulham if we take Dempsey, and if they also lose Dembele, they are really struggling. I will give that Fulham is a lovely part of London to live in & around mind.
