Cheick Tiote - Arsenal for £15 million?

Driving home fom work I've just heard on Talksport some guy called Warren (somebody or other) talking to the presenter
who said that Warren was the first person to link Tiote with Arsenal over a week ago
he was shocked and amazed to hear that the sundays where running with the story
as he only said that Arsenal needed a defensive midfielder in the Tiote mould

seems like nothing worth writing about today so lets make something up

 

Same old same old isn't it. Hear a few words and mix them up to create a story that isn't there in the first place.

 

basically that was what this guy was saying

he said that Newcastle would proberbly not sell for less than 20mil
and that Arsenal wouln't pay it

he did mention developements on the Douglas affair
Newcastle or Fulham

 

Why did you sign Anita though?

Looks like a pre-emptive replacement for Tiote to me, he's a Holland international, so he'll have expected guarantees about playing time, and he's **** anywhere other than DM.

I think Tiote will go, not a clue on the fee though.

 

I never heard more **** in all my life, and if you're going to give opinions on our team, at least do some research.

Now now Tash, it was just an opinion, it's not as if it was a put down from a WUM, and heaven knows you've paid visits to the Sunderland board before.

 

Yeah, but I've been on there over the last couple of days, and at first I just congratulated them on the Johnson signing, then they started acting like children and throwing around insults.

Then I saw their comments about our players leaving, and tried to tell them why they wouldn't leave, and then they were like "Are you ******ed? You're under Mike Ashley he'll take the first offer he gets and take the cash".

They obviously can't remember the Carroll saga, where it started at 15 million and Ashley pushed them up to 35.

All I did when I first got over there was try to be civil. I said I think they can finish above Liverpool with their new players, then I offered an opinion on my own team, and then they mocked me for having a bit of optimism.

I also talked about how Johnson being in the derbies would make it all the more interesting, then they took the time to start the "pussy fairy Tiote" ****e again.

What did make me laugh though, was one of them said the next derby was the PROPER derby, like the last 4 weren't XD.

They're children, and when you give them opinions that they don't like, they **** on you. MONsMush was never civil to me, I aint being to him. I tried doing it on their board, but they just acted like ****s.

 

You can ask a bunch of the other members. Some of us said, respectfully, that he's not worth 15m, and they started bitching at us.

 

It's going to be a long week. Just seen that Cabaye is now being linked to Arsenal.
To push on we have to keep our best players and we also need to bolster our team. I'm hoping Ashley thinks the same way.

 

Nothing new about this really. Our players have been linked with moves away all summer but they're still here.

 

They've got their arsehole posters, same as we have. BB certainly doesn't fall into that category. He's one of their top blokes imo. I only have run ins with two or three of their lads, most of them are spot on.

 

Now that I think of it, how many actual bids have we had for our players this window?

We need to keep what we've got. They did us proud last season and played as a team, any changes could unbalance things and be a backward step. MA should see that the better we do on the field the more cash will be coming in, packed houses every week, more merchandise being sold in the club shop, a case of speculating to accumulate.

Yes I noticed last week in club shop we are selling more international tops.

 

No chance for 15m. I don't think he wants to leave, and I'm certain Ashley would want 20m plus. I think he'll be here for the rest of the season. We need him especially against the top sides.
