If we're clinical, we can finish top 4 + Next 4 PL games.

Spurs and Arsenal aren't being clinical enough in the final 3rd. Arsenal not taking chances, they've drawn 0-0 both opening games. Spurs struggling at times to create them, they needed a deflected shot to get a point vs WBA at home.

We had a couple of chances yesterday that we didn't take, true, but Chelsea are a great team, and they sat back and made it difficult for us 2nd half. We only really had the 1 guilt edged chance.

We can produce moments of quality and win matches. We beat Spurs through two moments of brilliance. We almost unlocked Chelsea a few times through Ben Arfa's skill and great delivery.

I think we can do it!!

Forget who's playing the nicest football and who's better on paper.

Hopefully since we have a row of winnable games coming up, we'll go back to 4-2-1-3 and playing our good football.

I'd rest Cisse vs Atromitos, because we need to give him a week to recover now, IMO. Play Ba early, try and close the game out early with a few goals, then just control possess like we did at their ground. Then take Ba off, and just play passing footy till the clock runs out. We don't need a striker to close it out.

Next 4 Premier League games -

    Newcastle v Aston Villa
    Everton v Newcastle
    Newcastle v Norwich
    Reading v Newcastle

Everton will be tough, but I still think we can win, if we are fresh. Our next Europa tie, if we get through, isn't until after the Everton game.

So If we get scrape through this Europa tie, we can be happy, and have our players better rested for the next 3 premier league games.

We can get results from the next 4 games.

We should be winning all of those except the Everton game. If we don't then we're in trouble.

I don't think we'd be in trouble XD

Calm down. We should be aiming for at least 2 wins. Remember, the teams around us aren't all winning their winnable games.

We would be in trouble because those are all easy games where the team needs to make a statement in. Failure to win shows that we don't have that much quality, and will give confidence to who we play afterwards.
I'm not saying we'd get relegated if we don't win but we can wave bye-bye to any chance of Europe next season.

Bit early to be predicting top four for you and writing Arsenal and Spurs off, transfer window is still open and both teams will strengthen. Arsenal are bedding in a few signings at the moment but when they get going will be a force.

Personally think you will be 5-7th come the end of the season as you will be getting used to squad rotation because of the Europa league etc.

I really fancy Everton this season, nice to hear the Villa fans booing their manager already!

I'd say I'm quite confident of 7pts from the fixtures you've listed, especially once we get back into the swing of things.

Whilst I think Arsenal's new strikers will start producing when they get used to eachother, I think 4th is going to be even more hotly contested than it was last season.

Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton with Spurs and the Mackems a decent (and likely) striker away from joining in. Chelsea look monstrous this season and the Manc clubs will be just as strong, between those three for the title.

I think Everton will be outsiders for one of the top 6 places, Arsenal better get scoring as well, Man c, Chelsea, Man u, Arsenal maybe Spurs, Everton and as for Sunderland we still need the defence sorting out and Clint dempsey maybe 7th, but you know what our run in is always like, poor, so win the league/f a cup and that would do me.

4th is possible, but think it is very unlikely, as Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham and Liverpool will also be challenging for 4th.

9 or 10 points are very possible in the next four. But first we need to finalise the squad with at least 2 more signings. A striker and a defender would make me happy as larry

Fair play everton are looking strong.
Arsenal and spurs will come good no doubt. Early days yet but I think top half will be close, with a few surprises thrown in (west brom, Fulham, Swansea anyone?).

Doing well so far, and it isn't going to be easy but I think we've got enough in the tank to finish above them.

Think we can get wins against Villa and Norwich but Everton to everyone's suprise have started well and Fellaini is on fire.
Reading were unlucky against Chelsea so I think it could be a tough game.
