Can't wait to be shot of JB, can't wait to see Diakite, Cisse, Mackie and the rest playing like they did at the end of last season! Onwards and upwards! You Rssssssssssssssss
Have to wonder why the board didn't take him up on his offer to resign his contract. If true, seems like their worst decision while here. I'm curious to know their thinking.
Why didnt we accept his offer to tear up the contract, weve just wasted loads of money paying him for doing nothing. Still, Im glad hes gone and it should mean its permanent and not a loan now.
So your telling me he has been paid £60k - £80k a week for doing nowt? And he will still be on our payroll even if he goes? In the fourteen weeks since the Man City game Joey has trousered £980,000!!!! ( If we take an average of £70k ) For doing sweet FA. ( A few FA hearings and a bit of Tweeting aside. ) He has earnt more than me in that fourteen weeks of doing eff all than I will in the thirty years ( £900k ) I will have to serve in the fire brigade. ( Even more if the govt gets their way. ) And probably most of us on here too. My sympathy for the fella has flown.
Whatever he's done, if what he's written about the whole situation is true then I'm more than a little bit miffed about how the club have dealt with this. And it certainly doesn't put the hierarchy in a good light. It all sounds so petty. If he offered to resign and they said no then the way he's been treated since is completely unprofessional and a little bit childish. I don't like it at all.....
Depends, what has TF said on the matter? And what has Barton lied about, squad number? No captaincy? No not training with 1st team? No. Even when he wasn't playing well, I never saw him not put the effort in......
I'm glad someone agrees with me I was expecting a backlash from the Barton haters. It is what it is now and hopefully he is moved on without anymore fuss than nessecsary.
Goodbye Joey, thank you for helping keep us up. I really hoped it would work out for you and that at QPR you would become a legendary Ranger. The problem is that is that you're a nutter. Be lucky son. The above is the original translation that I posted. I sincerly hoped that the fella would have the chance to prove himself as a true Ranger. I wanted him to be, but alas he screwed it up. He never had any interest in us from the off. He regarded us merely as an afterthought. He is a self induldgent being that thinks nothing or no one is good enough for him, this man needs serious help. I worry for him when his football career is finished. Who will be his audience?
If he wasn't suspended I'd be screaming for him to get a start in our midfield, given the way we're playing right now. Love him or hate him, we haven't found a better replacement yet (a massive mistake in our summer transfer strategy, esp with Ali not fit to return).
Don't forget he wad fined 6 weeks wages so "only" got 500k so we have profited if we get more than half a million for him.
Average player who is only so well known because he has a bad temper and is a thug. English football wouldn't miss him and doubt QPR would either.
