3 points, scrappy win, I expected a bit more, but hey, its 3 points. Mistake by Norris, gave away the goal, surely he must be dropped
With the team we have, scrappy wins is the best we can expect. We'll always battle and give 100% but we'll not dominate many games.
This will be how our season goes IMO. Not playing that well, but getting points. NW will coach this team well, and get them playing as a unit. He's had little money to spend and has brought in a set of decent, but very unspectacular players. We'll be hard to beat, but won't find games easy to win.
Looking forward to a run down from one of those at the game, I couldn't make it as I had too much work on. Glad we won but anything other than 3 points and you would have to believe we would be fighting for relegation this season, I don't wish to put a downer on a win but Peterborough are probably the worst team in this division - It was a MUST win match for us. Now off to have a look at the Leicester board and see if AKCJ is wishing another career finishing injury on anyone....
Agreed. A winning run of 4/5 games WILL put us in the auto's. However, if Bates believes we will get promoted, HE WONT SELL til we are in the Prem as we will be worth double
Agreed. Bates is even ****ing up our wins. When we won today, I was initially thrilled closely followed by a downer when I realised exactly what you've said, there's another nail in the takeover coffin
Reading this made me laugh just got back n I have to say Norris was our best player Varney was decent first half set up first goal n lees Pearce where solid as a rock. It's amazing how a commentator can make a game or player sound the total opposite of how it actually is
Spot on mate she was a bit hungover haha benloveleeds was with us too great day tried getting him back on here
I know you're a teetotaller YWBK, but did the Leeds fans take over the local beer festival as forecasted?
Iqbal going by the state of the Leeds fans they had well n truly taken over the beer festival some people where truly hammered
Oh goody, we beat the worst team in the division, so everything is great again. ****e performance and ****e management throughout the game. Utter drivel from start to finish.
Whilst Posh are favourites for relegation, apart from their keeper Joe Lewis (who wasn't always a guaranteed starter), they haven't lost any of their other big players (YET), so to record an away win when they are desperate for their first point of the season is positive.
Mrning all. I was travelling back from the game on the same train as a couple of Leeds fans who live in Norwich. Apparently, it was all over Twitter that the 'Wall had kicked off at Hillsborough, attacking some disabled fans in the process. Haven't seen anything about this anywhere else. Anyone know anything about this? On the game, POSH were poor. We weren't great, but another 3 points. It's coming together slowly.
