If something look to good to be true, it probably is. If the Yanks were going to fake it they would have done a better job of it. All the signals being beamed to the Earth for the glorious pictures we saw that night (In my case on a tiny black and white TV.) had to be transmitted to numerous countries across the World as the USA was only in line of sight to receive them for short periods. Were all those countries in on this so called "conspiracy"? That is one hell of a lot of people who have managed to keep this "hoax" under wraps.
On one of the subsequent apollo missions (can't remember which one) the camera got accidentally pointed at the sun which damaged it and meant we were not getting pictures beamed back. Surely if the whole program was a ruse they would have started transmitting pictures again and reported that the camera had been repaired/replaced - just a thought like
Me too, I was 9 as well, what a day, how often since has the whole world briefly held it's breath, how many other people make a statement & it's remembered like it's yesterday, RIP, you have now taken the biggest step of them all
That's just it mate all the "hoax" theories can be disproved. The "hoax" theorists have yet to prove anything from NASA was faked. It's all innuendo and smoke and mirrors.
I've seen that Mythbusters as well answered all the questions as well, too many people would have to have been involved in a hoax of that scale & as Buzz Aldrin once said, if we did'nt go to the moon, where did we go?
Problem is ,,,, How can the mythbusters prove anything , when they themselves have not been on the moon?
They aren't trying to prove anything Bill. Why would they need to go to the moon? They are disproving the favourite of "hoax" conspirators all the lunar photos are fake, claims. Which they did and no one can argue with FACTS.
You will always find those who will believe these 'tin foil hat brigade' conspiracy theorists..The same ones who believe the people who say that the Holocaust and 9/11 never happened...
I was being sarcastic. The thought of people actually believing the moon landings were a hoax is beyond laughable.

The moon landings were real, of course they were. What makes me laugh thought is the American's. It may have been the Stars and Stripes that flew proudly or the moon but the brains that put it there were all from Nazi Germany. Makes you think.. Doesn't it?
The americans won the space race - so their German Nazi rocket scientists were better than the Russian German Nazi rocket scientists!
