Balotelli falling over. Sterling is half his weight how on earth could he possibly push him over?

<laugh> "Anfield flop" after 3 games, in which he scored once.

Brilliant half. First 10-15 mins we were a bit shaky, but soon got into the game and started to dominate possession. More of the same in the second half please

Good how we're not relying on Suarez for all our creativity.

Sterling has really impressed, not bad in the tackle either is he?

Suso etc must be sitting thinking 'I better get out and train, I want my chance to'.

Watch how **** we turn when downing comes on for sterling which he inevitably will. Good half. Would still like to see Suarez move over to the right. Borini more effective through the middle.

I know it's sad, working hard today and unlucky not to score (even though he should have buried it) <ok>

I'm loving this, it is so balanced, but we've taken our change. Win lose or draw, I'm delighted with what we have done in the first half. More of the same in the 2nd. I too would give Carroll a good chance, not just 10 minutes.

I'd have no problems with putting Carroll on for him, as long as he knows that the fans are behind him and appreciate his effort.
It's pretty demoralising to players to go online and read about how much the fans "think he's an Anfield flop". He's played solidly so far, give him another 20 and then it's time for Carroll.

Indeed. If we play like we did in that half in the second. I won't even care if we lose (Well, maybe a little bit annoyed). Allen, Sterling and Kelly have been fantastic.

Fantastic player. So glad we got him. £15m will turn out to be an absolute bargain. Bit worried about Lucas, looks like he had a twitch in his Groin or Hip flexor. Luckily Sahin is here!

He doesn't seem that suited to playing on the wing either in my opinion. Certainly not as deep on the wing as he's currently playing.

Borini is lively, great movement and work-rate... needs to play in the middle I think. He doesn't have great pace or trickery to be effective out wide.

Right now he's playing much like Kuyt did, when you think about it.
