Happy to say that I got an average\middle of the road start. Made one transfer: Rameries -> Michu, before Michu went up from 6.5 to 6.8.

Thinking about taking a 4pt hit to get Hazard before he goes up in value again; loooking like he might go up tonight, before the game tomorrow (http://development.totalfpl.com/pricechanges ). OTOH, I've enough in the bank to cover it.

    Gameweek 2 update

Some interesting results came up in Gameweek 2, with some players no doubt smarting from lost points for teams like Manchester United, Spurs and Everton. Equally, some will be ecstatic that players like Tevez, Torres and Michu came up trumps again this week.

We have a new leader at the top of the Not606 Saints Fans League, in the form of Adkins Is Our Leader, on 164 points. Helped by having three of the week's Dream Team in his midst, he racked an impressive score of 84 to go with his 80 in Week 1. An even more impressive score of 87 for Week 2 sees Saints on a Plane jump to 2nd place on 159. Last week's pacesetters totton saints and Schnarffffff Utd sit level on 150 points in 3rd place.

We have two teams sharing the mantle of whipping boys, with Juicy Jubblies and Cortese's Cartel sitting level on 62 points. They sit 6 points behind Saints r back!, on 68 points.

Gameweek 3 sees no game for Chelsea or Reading, whilst Liverpool come up against Arsenal in a tasty clash. Our very own Saints come up against United, who will be missing Wayne Rooney for at least a month, so no doubt some people will need to use up their free transfer for the week to swap him out.

As usual, anyone who wants in on this to challenge for the title of Not606 Saints Fans Fantasy Football Champion can still join. Simply PM me for the PIN and it will be sent, and you will be able to carry over the points you've earned already (I think that's the case anyway, one of the teams who joined for Week 2, feel free to confirm/dispute that).

Gameweek 2 Top Scorers [Season Total]
    1. Rangel (SWA) 14pts [19]

    Gameweek 3 update

In a weekend of Saints heartbreak, Man City failing to keep another clean sheet and Liverpool still looking very average, the top of the Saints Fans Not606 League still has a familiar look to it.

Adkins Is Our King strecthes his lead at the top with an impressive week score of 74 points, bringing him to 238 for the season. Schnarffffff Utd jump up to second on 213 after scoring 63 points for the week, with Totton Saints maintaining third with his 60 points taking him up to a total of 210. A poor week for Saints On A Plane sees them drop to fourth.

At the other end of the table, Mighty Saints sit on a meagre 100 points, a single point behind Saints r back. It is still tight at that end, with 10 points covering the bottom six teams.

The week's highest scorer in the league was Inter The Prem, whose score of 80 jumped him up to fifth overall, while Mighty Saints scored the lowest with just 29 points.

The league takes an international break next weekend, after which we see Gameweek 4. Saints travel to Arsenal, while the rest of the big teams all face weaker opposition, so there could be some decent scorers next time round.

And, of course, anyone who likes the look of the league can still PM me for the details of how to join.

    Gameweek Top Scorers

=1. Tevez (MCI), van Persie (MUN), McAuley (WBA), Reid (WHU) 15pts
=2. Cazorla (ARS), Fletcher (SUN), Taylor (WHU) 13pts
=3. Podolski (ARS), Crouch and Walters (both STK) 12pts

    Season Top Scorers
    1. Michu (SWA) 35pts
    2. Hazard (CHE) 34pts
    3. Tevez (MCI) 33pts

    Gameweek Lowest Scorers
=1. Chico (SWA), Huddlestone (TOT) -2pts
    No other negative scores

    Season Lowest Scorers
=1. Agger (LIV), Huddlestone (TOT) -2pts
    No other negative scores

Yeah it was always my plan to use it in the international break post transfer-window. Plus my whole team is dreadful apart from Michu.

My dad used his the other day, but he had players such as Modric, Billy Sharp, Rooney, Cork... I took an 8 points deduction to make 3 transfers, still saving my wildcard until nearer the end of the season. I belive you get another wildcard for the next transfer window as well.

Well I cocked up, made 11 (yes, 11) changes and got deducted 40 points <laugh>

Second bottom now despite 64 points this week (impressive considering 4 players were away from the chelsea game)

For "Inter The Prem", read hotbovril! Love the FF and our league is already shaping up to be a good one. I'm in the top 10% in the country and not even it a CL place in our league!
