Perhaps this? Is this guy still around?
I am more than happy to stand by what I have said. If some of you think he is the right man for the job, that's fine by me. I will NOT change my opinion of him by being bullied or ridiculed. I hope you are right and that he does do the job for us, he won't, but I hope he does. How long should we give him do you think?
Oh come on Shefford. Respect to you for holding your views but you're not being bullied ( though maybe slightly ridiculed ) . And in answer to your question, I would give him a season at least.
Monday morning. What may hold up his departure is the fact that TF went out on a limb sacking NW and bringing MH in. Does he have the stomach to be quite so radical again? Will TF/Board consider it an admission of failure on their part and delay making a decision? If they are reading this forum, my message is simple, do it now, get the pain over with and give a new appointee adequate time. MH has had a go, no hard feelings.
I can't accept the accusation of fickle, sorry. I am just unable to buy into the MH regime any longer.
Don't think TF will! Probably till Xmax and rightly so, but if we are in and around the relegation zone and there's not been much improvement in performances by then I think he'll go! Long time till then though and we need some stability.
As much as I'm a long way off being convinced that Hughes is up to it tactically, I agree he should be given time. That's an excellent post Lone!
Then what happens at Christmas Col ? Back to where we started, if some on here get there way with 'Honest 'Arry' in charge, new players in, MH's old players out. And the press et all laughing at us for sacking yet another manager. It all becomes far too tedious and beyond a joke. Your last statement is spot on........stability is what we need.
Also.........it's a tough choice for the board. Obviously they want stability....but they sure as hell don't want to be relegated!!
Sorry mate, didn't mean it like it might of come over. Wasnt having a pop at you, as you are quite correct, that IS what TF might do. If he does, IMHO we become yet again a laughing stock
see where we are in december before jerking the knee, don't forget the squad is being rebuilt not dismantled, and skegness wasn't built in a day.
If we sacked MH, I can't imagine many managers chomping at the bit to acquire the revolving door position here.
