lots of people seem unhappy with hughes and want rid who is out there that you would replace him with? it has only been 2 games..is it really time to panic?
To be fair to 'Arry he's no more dodgy than Hughes/Joorabchian financial wise. Not many alternatives although I doubt if he would come to us, too far to drive everyday at his age.
Avoiding posting until the tedium of multiple threads of doom has calmed down, but am compelled to point out Arry's record to those who think he would be good for us. In a 30 plus year career, this self confessed illiterate who 'doesn't do tactics' has managed a promotion with Bournemouth, a promotion and an FA Cup with Portsmouth, and 2 4th place finishes with Spuds, with whom he spent a net £78 million on transfers. Everyone has a right to express their opinions, and I can understand the panic and anti -Hughes feeling, even if I don't agree with it. The endless repetitions do get a bit dull though. We'll be fine, it'll all settle down soon.
Bang on mate .............. it is a long season and the boys will come together .............. just takes time. I'd rather a ****ty start and a good finish any day than the opposite. Look at Bolton, then look at Wigan ( re: last season )
I think MH is very good manager, Did well at wales, Excellent at Blackburn, average at man city, good at fulham and kept us in the premier league for another season which I never thought would happen. Ok we may of being lucky to stay up last season but we beat Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool under Hughes. We havenât had a great start to the season but just because itâs the first time we have spent any money since Iâve been QPR supporter we must forget that not too long ago we were playing Swindon and Crew now we are expected to win every game and perform like Barcelona. Wake up or go support Chelsea and you can change managers every season!
This. Probably candidate for the most ridiculous thread ever (sorry Kiwi),Until I start an ' If you die tommorow, how would you like to die' thread......
I was going to start another thread on it, but didn't seem worth it...how long realistically are the board going to give Hughes to turn this around. Results is one thing but performance is another, and at the moment we're barely getting either. In my opinion, i'd give it until after the WBA on October 6, with a manager lined up to take over. There's a gap from then until October 21 (home game vs Everton) where if a new man was required, he'd at least have 2 weeks to work with the players. Fingers crossed it doesn't need to go to this though and he sorts it out. He's got no excuse with the backing, funding and ego
arry? oh dear god no his mere name makes me twitch, too early to dump sparky and don't forget he kept us up.
couldnt help myself staines nearly every thread i looked at yesterday had someone saying mh is ****..get rid ffs if the team he picks cant perform against the likes of swansea and norwich they might as well stay in bed when we play the good teams supposedly we have bought quality..lets be ****in seeing some of it i would stick with mh for the foreseeable future as for arry..i would only employ him to do my dogs accounts
