Sorry lads but you lot completely underestimated us we are a different side this season, its not that you played bad, we were just quality, we knew what your weaknesses was and we used them to our strengths, I did tell you to watch out for our number 11 wooly!!

Still early days boys but fair play looks like you could do well this season! Shame that the match was played in an empty stadium only 14000 and nearly 2000 was us!!

I wouldnt worry too much guys.....you have a very strong squad and will no doubt be there or there abouts come the end. Us wurzels have had a very good pre season and have been growing in confidence for a while now but keeping it all under the radar as they say. Its been a while, but we have finaly taken points off our nemisis which is a relief at last! On holiday in west wales at the mo so didnt go to the game, but the comentary gave me the impression our forwards were on fire and your back four were out of sorts a bit?....
As a team we have added some qaulity at full back and forwards so we are a very very different prospect from last term and couple that with a manager who is very highly thought of in the game, we may well be snapping at your heels this term......which i will be happy with as i still have you as a bet to go up!

Yeah our defence wasn't upto much but had Connolly start who only joined us a few days ago! So was thrown in at the deep end! We still got a few players to come in!

Like I said early days :) wait for the injuries to start have you got the depth or will you struggle as the fixtures mount up?

    Missing Blake already.

We shouldn't be throwing guys in that have only just arrived. We've enough players who have done a full pre-season to bring these players in slowly.

The same needs to happen with KimBo. Leave him out of the side for a week or two, then off the bench before he starts.

My my, the Brizzle lads are up early this morning - I wonder why.............<laugh>

No excuses fellas, we deserved nothing from that.

On the "throwing on a new player front", there is a world of difference between playing a new striker to introducing a CB with no experience of his fellow defender's play. A defence needs to be far more disciplined and have understanding between them - a striker can just go for it.

Not an excuse lads, just a thought on the subject.

They probably heard my ****ing neighbours dog barking this morning from all the way over there Spark. <grr>

We had an ass whipping in defence no excuses. As I sit here warmed by the radiant sunshine I am now over the Severnside slaughter and looking forward to a dramatically enhanced performance against Wolves next Sunday following on from the thought of several hard kicks up the ass for those responsible. There should be no favourites in this team and others should be given the chance to prove their worth.

Bora Da boys from sunny west Wales......Hows things Oldsparky?..long time no speak mate. Rumour was you were not on here anymore as you were opening up a tattoo parlour doing only red ink over existing bluebird tatts?
Good to see you are still about though mate.
I wont dwell on the game, just to say it was a long time coming!...... and far far too early for you guys to panic just yet, and indeed for us lot to start talking of the "P" word!

Just let us enjoy the moment for the weekend eh?....god knows you have for a few seasons!

Hello Caldicot mate - I've been too busy at the tattoo parlour through the summer to comment on here.

Best seller up till now has been "Malky's Army", but I've had a lot of enquiries this morning about adding a "B" in front of the second word............<laugh>

Good job we can still have a laugh after that lot yesterday. <ok>

Watched the football league show this morning. The gaps in the centre of defence were ridiculous. I would say Hudson and Connelly played like strangers but the distance between them at times made it look like they were trying to avoid each other.
Well done to BC they deserved the win (listened to the radio commentary yesterday) but I don't think anyone else this season will benefit from a defensive performance like that from us.

The point about baldock coming of the bench to play up front for a team in the lead compared to starting with a '1 day at the club' cb is obviously bollocks.
Will agree that BC look in much much better shape than last season. Need to try to hold onto Adomah though.

It's a bit early for a ton of new , good players to overrun the championship . Once the Bluebirds get a bit of gel & everyone in camp , I think they'll go on a serious run . Holy Bristol City though eh , wow !

With you on that Sparky. A misunderstanding between forwards is unlikely to cost you a goal.

It's the same with keepers. An air shot by a striker (a mistake) gets a laugh, the same mistake by the keeper costs you the points. It's one thing picking a new signing on the bench, another starting that player. It was a risk that caught us out.
