While I know the thread is in jest, please can we avoid turning it in to another of the aforementioned threads. Brix's life is hard enough at the moment.
This. Can't understand this boards obsession with SWORDS. It's like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun. Sooner or later there is an almighty bang with collateral damage. The man just can't help himself. Quite simply he is a repeat offender and no amount of advise seems to help. I know many of you joined this board to keep in touch with all things QPR and it can become irritating and frustrating watching several good threads turn into individual battlefields. I for one don't mind saying publicly that I am sick of it. This board has some great posters who contribute positively. The really sad thing is that we have lost great posters who are sick of the undertones on this forum. There are simple rules with this board. The vast majority of us abide by them. I really don't see why we should make allowance for a few who don't appreciate the chances they are given and then routinely stick two fingers up at the members here by offending again. To hail their return like conquering heroes is in my opinion pathetic. I apologise if some find this post over the top, I just want to keep the integrity of this board together and enjoy arguing/discussing valid QPR issues with all on here.
this. far too many attention seekers on here who deliberately cause controversy to provoke a reaction. whilst i wasn't a particularly regular poster, i rarely even bother with that anymore.
We have got to get back to talking football. Brix has claimed that self mod is the way to go and I agree. It's up to all of us to get this board going again and to weed out those who use this forum as a personal play thing.
No apologies necessary. You and a few others got my point. "Self-moderation, mania and discontent". Great thread title. Time to revisit it I think.
