Swansea City have a new No1 fan after dispatching West Ham 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium to reach the summit of the Premier League - for a few hours at least.

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas took to Twitter to reveal his admiration for the Welsh club after they produced another dazzingly display to chalk up a second successive win to the new season.

Goals from Angel Rangel, Michu and Danny Graham secured the three points for the Swans, who have now scored eight goals in their opening two games without reply after their 5-0 win over QPR on the opening day.

Staying true to their passing philosophy implemented by former boss Roberto Martinez and cultivated by Brendan Rodgers, Michael Laudrup's men continue to win plenty of plaudits, Fabregas chief among them.

The former Arsenal skipper clearly enjoy what he saw from the Swans on Saturday as he wrote: "Como juega el Swansea... Madre mia. Com juga el Swansea... Mare meva. I love the way Swansea plays...Respect."

Fabregas' praise for the Welsh club, nicknamed 'Swanselona' for the similarities in style to the Spaniard's own team, Barcelona, is not the only admirer.

Brian Deane, who famously scored the first goal of the Premier League era back in 1992, is also a big fan as he wrote simply: "Swansea are brilliant.."

    i watched the game....very impressed.....

west ham didnt help themselves with collins gifting a goal and the other goals were goalkeeping errors but on general run of play the best team won....<ok>

Allardyce .... "other than the two mistakes .... not a lot to choose between the two teams" .... the first step in solving a problem is admitting that one exists.

Think big sam must have ben in the sun too long. Nothing too choose between the two teams he must be having a laugh. West Ham offered nothing only really from set pieces, there main problems they caused us was in the last 5mins of the first half after that nothing.

Can't see how the third goal was a goalkeeping error Swamp? Haven't seen a replay yet but it looked as if it took a bobble from a deflection off the defender's leg but it was well taken by DG.

I actually think we were poor first half but were lucky with the gifted goals. Second half we bossed it.

Nah. He's always last off the pitch even if he only plays a few minutes.

On form De Guzman...as Ivor says, he needs games though and he will get them.
I see a scenario whereby the middle 3 will be rotated every 3/4 games.
De Guzman can also pick up game time coming off the bench to play on the wing instead of Moore. (I like Moore by the way but prefer him in the Graham role or as half of a front 2).

Yes I think Ki will come in for De Guzman next week, and the only other change may be Hernandez starting for Routledge. :)

If Hernandez is bought he'll start imo. That said, it's a tough one for Laudrup because our wingers have been fab so far.

If Hernandez is bought, Routledge to start and Nandez coming on for the last 30 minutes. Game after goes on how they performed in that game.

Two good games, two good results, 36 games left. We are looking for another 34 (or more) points to achieve relative safety. Next weeks gane against Sunderland will give us a better idea of how we are improving (or not). Tough game & O`Neill is no mug, we`ll have to be at our best to get a result. The way we`re playing I thnk we can do it, so long as we don`t give away silly free kicks!

Without the two record breaking transfers ( assuming Hernandez comes on board ) putting a minute in yet , I'd say were prepared for a fair season

    I like that swanee.

    Today's result was Football 3 Hoofball 0

And I'm willing to bet that any fans of "footballing" teams would have been pleased we won today against those tactics.

It showed today why Reading and Southampton finished streets ahead of them last season and you have to remember that was a team that beat the neighbours 5-0 over two legs just a few months ago, a team we mullered today.

We have a good chance of making it 9 out of 9 next week, the way villa are playing at the moment we may even manage 12 out of 12

At this point I can't see Routledge not starting till he craps out in a game .
