Really happy about this signing.....Everything about the guy is positive for our players functioning as a team. Plus we essentially now have a German to take our penalties. (german born anyway.)

To be honest I haven't been impressed with Borini at all yet, not even glimpses of anything making me think this lad will do well, I hope he proves me wrong. Gerrard out left could be good coming in on his right. But we don't have any real wingers ready to play week in week out, Sterling is a great option now and again but has to be developed properly. If the midfield can provide sufficient cover for Enrique and Johnson to provide the width then I feel Gerrard and Suarez either side is our best option. I just can't see Borini being that potent through the middle and Suarez clearly doesn't finish enough chances, Gerrard down the middle is also an option we could explore, I think that may be a decent shout. Still we are only 2 games in so lets see how things shape out, we also have Assaidi (sp?) who I have yet seen play a full game so there we go. Midfield is looking good though!

 

He saw them over there the same way we watch Spanish football over here, on the telly.

This guy is basically a replacement for Alberto Aquilani..

 

Definately should be given time..But what i dont get is why he has become an automatic selection before Carroll. What ever happenned to working for your place on the teamsheet?

 

Actually read my post before commenting, I put " I hope he proves me wrong" and "Still we are only 2 games in so lets see how things shape out".

And I was talking about giving someone a chance, someone who we paid £35m for and was showing massive signs of improvement when given a run of games, looking unstoppable at times

 

now i am sure that he said in his interview that he watched swansea on you tube, check the interview out and leave me know. after talking to rodgers sahin probably thinks he is signing for barcelona
