    It is impractical to try to stop abandonments due to the weather.

    Apology accepted. I'm just pissed that the game was called off when all it would have taken for the game to go ahead was a poxy £27,600 pitch cover.

    Agree withe you on Durham, the buck teethed ginger wqanker.
    Even the main drains can only take so much water at once. They back fill & it causes the man hole covers to lift.
    Soil drainage is even more small bore so have no chance. TBF like, it would not have took long once the rain stopped but it would still cut up very quickly.
