Simply put if they think we are relagation fodder then Im Del boy in disguise.

Boys you need to ammend those predictions, simply put this side will be at the other end of the table come the end.

I believed in what I have seen, and this squad is capable of a top six finish.

Cardiff are no mugs and will be around top six,but they could not handle a very very good Bristol City side today.

Cardiff are a good side, but we were the better side by a considerable distance today.

Baldock what a class act, he should get the nod ,he looks dangerous every time he had the ball,Woolford what a revaluation,Carey absolute fantastic,Heaton supurb,Skuse excellent.

We are on a long journey, with a excellent management team, and super squad of players.

I believe we are seeing the dawn of a new era at Bristol City FC

The scary thing is that the team hasn't really settled yet - plenty more to come I believe...

One, maybe two more signings to round off the squad, giving us an extra measure of quality and depth in defence and midfield, and I reckon we will be hunting promotion to the big league

Couple of weeks ago the team was bossed by Gillingham and last saturday had very little going forward. Better balance to it left footed players playing left etc now. Decent win v a poor Nigels team and a good one v the Red Dragon Franchise. Wont be getting giddy about it yet.

So... Six goals, intense derby rivalry, up to fourth in the table...

But will we get five minutes on the Football League Show? Will we ****...

I dont think we'll be hitting any ground for a few weeks yet Tiger.
We have been starved of the kind of euphoria that we are all feeling for too damned long.
I take my hat off to SL and whoever chose McDel for manager, and then I go dancing in the rain.....<party>
And I dont care if it all goes tits up, i'm going to bloody enjoy it !

Went up to Forest expecting City to lose, and of course they did without threatening to get three points. Will be looking at the Barnsley result with some interest. Another twelve games will be time enough to tell if the story has changed.

Sadly I will be 10 miles down the road from Barnsley next Saturday, doing an audition.
    How frustrating is that !

Still smirking, I know your in a band but you have got to admit that was good for Shiny<ok>

What sort of music do you do?

I went to a wedding yesterday, the groom was Pete Townsend for a Who tribut band and saw them play, really enjoyed it

Loved The Who, one of my favs, along with The Stooges, Bowie, The Clash an all....

My band were a post punk outfit from Bristol, back in the days when they used to call it 'Alternative'.
We came up with The Cult, The Wonderstuff, The Mission, Jesus Jones etc, and had connections with The KLF, Pearl Jam and EMF

These days I produce, write for, and sound design (thats putting the bangs and crumps, dialogues and musics in TV & film).
The thing next Saturday is an audition for a Deep Purple tribute band, something I take with a pinch of salt but which pays the bills and lets me indulge in my number one pastime - adoring Bristol City

Hey Rickster, dont mind me saying, you sound a real talented bloke,my favourite band from Bristol in the late 60's and early 70's was the 'Dipps',lead singer Aiden McAnn,could play anything,I used to book them regular....Johny Carr and the Cadilacs and a host of other local bands.....Bristol talent has always been neglected..

    Interesting cover that Wiz

and you're dead right, Bristol talent has always had a hard time getting thru..
Makes it all the more impressive what bands like Portishead, Massive and Tricky managed to do.

Dont recall The Dipps or Johnny Carr, bit before even my time, but I will check 'em out.

Where did you book your bands for ?

EMF are a forest band from Coleford if I'm correect it stands for Ecstasy Mother ****er??

They were really good last night, a band called Who's Next.

Seen 3 tributes this year now Abba at a golf dinner and Madness tribute in Chepstow castle can't remember their stage name but if you closed your eyes you was listening to the real madness they sounded that good.

Seen Hells Bells a few times used to know the former guitarist who played Angus Young
