If this is mid table obscurity I don't want it Bottom 3 football more like There are many levels of s*** in life I've just paid £48.50 to watch one of the lower levels available No thanks mark I'll pass on city away if this is your masterplan
Yes it was Heres the feedback - 451 at home 442 away? Garrido excellent we should have signed him Holt IS a man without a gravity field Hoilett looks great Hughes hasn't got a clue It was never a pen At one point down to 9 men and played 7 - 8 mins with 10 when Zamora off. Andy Johnson can't buy an appearance Inept I can swallow ****e in the lower reaches of the championship away to donny A side with CL winners in it looked worse than ramage Clarke & priskin
Bbc reports the match as an 'evenly fought draw'. Funny that contradicts the views of every single fan on this forum.
Was a pretty dreadful game and now have to joy of sitting in a non-moving car park for the next hour. Doubt Zamora won a header although he was fouled on a fair few. Park looks class, fabio less so. Hughes set out to get a draw and achieved it but if he'd brought on a live wire like taarabt we might have got a win from this game
Didn't go to the game, but having seen the highlights, I thought there was only two problems/reasons why we played like we did and both are easily fixed hopefully by Friday. 1. Norwich's attacks mainly came from centre mid, and we all know we're lacking a tough tackling cm. with faurlin coming back and hopefully another coming in will improve us greatly. 2. We need a dominant CB who can win headers in the box, that was our only threat today. If we don't buy one then nelsen has to be given a chance. What I didn't see was the complete disorganisation of last week or bad tactics/formations. But I do concede that my 2 points should have been addressed already. We're not ready for the start of the season, but when we are, after next Friday, we will be fine.....
Here's the thing. You guys, like us, were craving to be in the Premier League. We made it, as did you. I'm just thrilled to be there, you guys are never satisfied, weird. You don't become a fixture immediately. ok?
Even if we were playing well no one would expect us to get any points from the next 3 games, so I'd rather get them out of the way playing as we are than lose to say, Wigan, West Ham and reading then face them.
That's a fair call. Like most fans I only want to see good football, where we finish is not important. But we are the only club incapable of that at the moment, which is why it's so frustrating. You didn't get the result but at least you ripped us apart.
I saw the match online and I agree with your first two points but to say after Friday we will be fine is incorrect IMO at the moment we are playing like strangers that have met in the park for a kick about and on the last two performances we need more time to gel and get some kind of rytham and formation (because if anyone can tell me what formation we were playing yesterday I will buy you several pints) and MH needs to sort out his tactics properly, on top of that we will probably get another two players that also need to be integrated into our shambles. While all of this needs to happen there is a matter of confidence and respect that play on the players minds. Put this all together and we have a **** load of things to sort out and I for will be grateful and feel lucky if we have about 10 points after the first 10 games because it will take a minimum of 10 games to get this sorted if at all. I am praying for a 3/4 game cup run because that will help with all of the above espicially getting Faurlin match fit.
It's not that we're overly expectant, not at all. Christ you can't have been a rangers fan all these years and be sane! No what's doing my head in is that we've signed some really class players, best in over 25 years but there is no evident plan / strategy as to how to deploy them. Yesterday we looked like there was no coherent format for them to adhere too. The players looked lost and that's the problem It's incredibly fustrating to watch and then be told 'don't worry the team are still bonding ' In what way can they bond if they don't appear to know what they're supposed to be doing? Norwich had a gameplan and deployed it. We just didn't know what we were doing It's always worse of course when the oppositions comedy fat bloke striker falls over every 2 mins and the ref tolerates it.... I hate Norwich
Just a little disappointing as we dont seem to be improving even though we have supposedly better quality players.
Quality players playing with quality players at previous clubs though. We don't have an Evra or Scholes in our side.
