Got my season ticket renewal form in the post today. prices seem fair although the £15 to use direct debit is steep in my opinion. Think I may save my pennies and pay it full in cash this year, sure I can find the money in a month.

closing date for reduced prices for current season ticket holders is 23rd May.

Adult for each stand is £390 West £350 East and £340 South stand. Nothing about North stand. Looks like it is set price for everybody or so the letter with it says

What are the payment options on direct debit? I missed the post this morning so assume my form will be waiting for me, but interested to see what the option is considering its so late coming out

Heartbreaking to receive the form, the first time in my life where I won't be sending it back.

Can't wait to leave Hull in September but I don't want to leave the Tigers.

Only a few of the passes have been sent out - mainly HU5, Beverley and Cottingham areas.

However a colleague of mine from one of those areas got his and mine will be £340 and the lads ( under 10) £20 in south stand family.

<laugh> it's not I don't like Hull, it's just been the same old **** for 18 years, too much familiarity and dependence.

I'll be back for a few games but it won't be the same as screaming at Harps week in week out ;)

You have the option of changing seat. Think there's a couple of days after the passes have been sent out where you can go along to the club and change where you sit.

Well i had that option last season anyway.

Yeah, only Sheffield though so I won't be a million miles away. It's a shame Sheff Utd are going down and Wednesday aren't coming up, that'd be two away days sorted :(

Speaking as a student season ticket holder, have you looked at the maths/finances involved? A season ticket is paid for in about 14 games.

In the Championship we'll have 2 games in August and another 1, maybe 2 in September before you go. At Xmas there'll be at least 2 during the holidays due to the 4 gamesbetween Xmas and 4th January. Could be 3 games if the one just before Xmas is a home game. 2 weeks at Easter will normally give you 2 games (you'd actually get 3 for some reason this season)

That gives you 8/9 games when you'll be in Hull anyway. A return ticket with a railcard (Natwest will give you a free one with their student account unless the've changed the offer) is £15 so you're talking £90 for the extra 6 games to make the season ticket worth it. It's not even £2 a week, and I bet you could get your parents to pay for you to come back and see them for a weekend in the middle of each term to bring it down to £45 for your transport for the year.

I didn't get my form today.

I'm in Hull uni so I get the best of both worlds :-S. They just sent me an email saying that they plan to charge £9000 a year from 2012/13. I'll be out by then SUCCESS!

That's a fair point actually, I'll look into it. Thanks.
