    Personally think the Sunderland management have paid off the officials to do this so Adam Johnson doesn't miss any games <whistle>

    Seriously though, what a relief for MONsMush that he didn't buy those 800 quid plane tickets!!

    Was on route and looking forward to this. Now I'm early for work.

    Agreed this gives the new signings a bit of bedding in time. Swansea next in the league and they are on fire. Anything from there will be a bonus!

    Just have to put up with a week of constant transfer speculation.

    Valid point made by Gary Lineker on the BBC site, couldn't the match be delayed a couple of hours to see if the rain abaited, people are twittering that the rain has stopped and there is blue skys over Sunderland at the moment, has it it called off in haste. Suppose we will never know.

    I'm in Sunderland and there are no blue skies fella! Forecast to rain until 9pm tonight. Ref got this right.

    Thought we had good drainage etc though?

    Typical BBC weather forecasting, they never call it right, this could put a few extra thousands onto Tuesdays game, every cloud has a silver lining....
