Can't see a pre-match build up thread and considering you're favourites to beat us, I'm gunna skip the whole 'who do you think will win' and simply ask how many you think you'll win by?

We did amazingly last season, but that was down to a couple of bits of class from one Mr P. Cisse, someone we've yet to see turn up at Newcastle so far this season (including pre-season). Neither striker looked good against Spurs, but Demba pulled something out of his locker - Ben Arfa will be our biggest threat if recent form is anything to go by but in all honestly I can see this being a interesting, exciting but ultimately dissapointing day for our travelling support...Too many injuries, too much fatigue and too much class...

3:1 Chelsea (with a glaringly obvious bit of shoddy refereeing going against us)

It's funny, you guys were complaining about playing us 2 days after Europe but in reality virtually no one played who will play Sat so we're the one's who will have had 3 games in 6 days.

True, but our squad is tiny in comparison...

With Colo still an injury doubt, either one of Perch or Williamson will potentially start against you. Gutierrez, Anita, Bigirimana and Marveaux all featured so at least one will play again tomorrow and Cisse played 77 minutes...Add that to the fact that Colo (already mentioned) Ba and Tiote are all listed as 'injured' its a worry and means more of the team who played last night will play tomorrow...

I think we'll start the same team as Wed except Luiz for JT. Gonna go 1-1

Tiote out, while Colo, Ba + Cisse all need late fitness tests. <yikes>

Please be gentle with us. Cisse says he didn't mean to score that goal last season and it was actually meant to be a back pass that got caught in the wind.

3-1 to Chelsea seems about right to be JWAG.

There is no doubt in my mind all those that are "racing to be fit in time" and "undergoing late fitness tests" will be fit and play. I go into the game with optimism but I think you Geordies are doing your team down here, you have a great chance of taking a point if not all three and your recent record at the Bridge is fabulous.

That said this is a more technical Chelsea team and we are an unknown quantity at the moment which is where you could struggle

I hope Pardew doesn't go all out early on, or else with Chelsea's abundance of creative talent I could see it going sour like our disastrous night in the capital at Spurs last season. Keep it tight though and we know we've got the firepower to nick a goal from nowhere.

I dont do predictions, but what I dont want to see is that first twenty minutes of magic, followed by 70 minutes of exhibition stuff! Robbie must make sure the boys get it in their heads, that when and if they are 2-0 up, they are hunting down a third!

Spurs fluked that game. It's only because Newcastle went 4-4-2 because Pardew wanted to experiment. I'm quite sure Newcastle will complete the double over them this season

    These 2 points in abundance!

I watched your last 2 games out of curiosity. My old flatmate is a Chelsea fan and so I wanted to see how Hazard settled...Very, very impressed. His close control in the area is brilliant and I can see him winning another 10+ penalties for you without having to get an Ashley Young style 'reputation'! He has good pace etc. and knows where to put the ball - certainly not the finished article, but what a prospect!

I still think you look shaky at the back, we don't really do crosses (watch us score one today) which is a bonus as I think they're your bread and butter. We've got our pace and trickery up front and as I said, I think we'll be denied a stonewall penalty/something along those lines...The Luiz non-sending-off last season would've changed the game at our place, as it would've been either Mata or Sturridge to come off (and they ran the show) but regardless, as long as its an entertaining game I'll be happy, take a point and I'll be over the moon!

Not looking forward to this match. My honest prediction is 4-1 to Chelsea. We stand no chance, especially if Colo does not play.
