Kia Joorabchian claims that Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio César is poised to join Queens Park Rangers.

Joorabchian is acting as an intermediary in the negotiations between the two clubs and believes the deal could go through by next week.

''Yes, Julio César's transfer to Queens Park Rangers is very probable,'' he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

''We are working and talking. Next week the deal could go through. I have not spoken with Inter, Julio has. Let's see what happens.

''His arrival at QPR is absolutely possible. I think we'll do it.''

César, 32, has been capped 64 times by Brazil since he made his international debut in 2002.

    From Wikipedia:

    "Other business interests

An analysis of Joorabchian's other business interests undertaken by the Financial Times in 2006 suggested that he was at that time a director of 10 UK companies, many of them lossmaking, including Karmaa Racing, a horse racing company, and Karmaa, a kick-boxing club in Chalk Farm, London. His largest listed interest was at that time a car dealership, Greens of Rainham."

Of course that Brazilian Arrest Warrent that was issued for money laundering is purely coincidental.
