All the big money transfers we seem to have gone for (Dawson, Ki, etc) seem to have not happened, then suddenly we sign a free transfer instead. I am starting to think we wont go above 5m for anyone, but being associated with big transfers does makes us look like big spenders.
Don't think it is!If what they say he wants a week is true,then there's absolutely no chance of us signing him.I t's not our policy to spend big on transfers,we prefer to get em in on a free and then pay them around £40-70 grand a week.This is precisely why i can see Carvalho coming in,no fee,extortionate wages and about 5 years past his best.Roll on the end of this ****ing transfer window,before someone comes in with a bid for Faurlin and we flog him for next to nothing!
from what is being said it is around the bonuses he wants to recieve as the base wage was agreed but this is the sticking point.
To be honest.I think we would do well to get Dawson.I think he could play for top 5 prem clubs.I reckon the other clubs will now come in with personal terms.Shame cause hes just what we need
