It seems to have gone a little quiet over here. I am perfectly prepared to believe that they have approached these neotiation in a calm and business like fashion given the quality of people like Beard and Amit who I suspect do a lot of that side of the business. I'm equally certain they they love the last minute drama; players dashing around West London to get to LR at 22:59 to sign on the dotted line; bids and counter bids etc. I suspect this is the lull before the action (hopefully not storm!) so get ready for a quiet BH as far as transfers are concerned and then frenzy pitch as 23:00 31.8.12 approaches. Before then we have the little matter of a few Canaries to deal with! COYRss!!!!
Whatever happened to the list of players we've been linked with? I'm sure we'd passed the 100 mark on that...
You don't think that the team won't spin out a drama for the circus that is transfer deadline countdown do you? Th eyes of the footballing world will be watching ... QPR not on that show ... un thinkable
Unfortunately the level of players we are now after means that they won't always come off. We are after all punching way above are weight in the transfer Market, and any of these top players who join really will have to buy in to the Qpr plan for the future. So we will have to be patient and accept that sometimes these deals won't come to fruition, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. Nor should it mean that dome fans panic and think the club aren't doing a good job in the transfer Market, it will just take a bit longer to persuade some of these players to join. Buy who would have believed a year ago that we would be going for the likes of Dawson and julio cesar, amazing progression.
