anything has to be better than the rubbish i watched in one match a couple of years ago when the ball went from the opps 18 yd box back to our keeper, now that is not football
But the opposition didn't score while we were doing it and we still kept possession of the ball. Like it or not, that was Brendan's way (when it was necessary) and you can't deny it wasn't successful over the season as a whole.
This is the type of football i have been waiting for and fair play from Flynn through to laudrup they have all added bits and pieces that have made us what we are today, that is why i will never slag off anyof our past managers. they all have their strengths that has contributed to where we are today.......we have gone from rock bottom to the top between all our managers and now ML is on course to get us even better, We wont win every game as that is impossible but as long as we go from strength to strength then im very happy.
Laudrup does like his front line to be portent and clinical, something we have missed badly on times during our march to the top, what we have to watch though are the gaps at the back that are inevitable with such an offencive game, there are teams here that will punish you badly, so a balance or compromise would be my choice!..............
