Fletcher would have been decent back up for anything around £7mil but wouldn't want him for double that and to be our first choice. Jarvis no thanks, had a few decent game but isn't the type of player we need. He stays wide, gets to the line and crosses which would be useless with Suarez & Borini in the middle.

good point Gerrez, don't think we made an offer for him, only contact as far as i am aware, ie Sig transfer where he had a choice and chose the wrong one lol. hopefully he might sign for the saints as you have a good looking team and if more teams like Southampton are successful in the prem we can hopefully get rid of teams like Stoke. hope you get him any way, good luck

Pretty pleased for you to be honest, seeing yourselves and Norwich being linked to players such as Ramirez and Biglia is great for the league. Just glad it's not fat Sam getting them.
Kenny and Commoli were interested in Ramirez, but that interest ended when they both left and Rodgers didn't pursue it. Lucas Biglia seems to be a very good player so I'm surprised that Norwich are going in for him. No disrepsect, I just thought more top European clubs would be after him.
By the way, does anyone else think that Jarvis is last summer's news? I would rather see Sterling given playing time. I also agree with what IBWT says about Fletcher too.
