Swim, most people don't like a lot of stickys (see Ash's thread) and it is nothing personal against you or anyone else. Anyway I've made it a sticky again
What happens if I say I'm going because of the stick threads ? It's frankly daft, you can't please all the people all the time, I say that there is no need for any of them, but that's my opinion
I agree Valley. I'll have to talk to Mabs and Ash and see what we can come up with, maybe a vote or majority rules something like that. Personally I like the joke thread but it does see most don't want stickys

Those toys don't belong in my pram so I'm chucking them. For every person who likes stickies there seem to be many more that don't. Democracy rules, and sorry Swim if you can't deal with that..... Forgive my ignorance, but there are only 3 stickys on the Swans site. Im not the biggest contributer on here, but seems a bit excessive for someone to leave for that. Swim, as anyone can do is vote with his feet, but I dont get all the in fighting thats gone on on this site the last few weeks. Cmon lads, debate and most importantly support the Swans, which is what a forum is for

Democracy??? I saw no democracy, just a decision made quickly. There was a similar thread just 1 month ago where the mods tried to get rid of them, but it was shot down. Its now happened again but this time quickly without the chance to defend. I have been proudly cultivating that thread since the early days when 606 ended. I'd rather that the public than 'pubic' decided. Kill it if you wish, but I thought it brought character and something different to any other clubs site.......far better than the bickering that has taken root throughout most threads unfortunately, but then I suppose some seem to really enjoy that side of things , BUT NOT ME. Whether you agree with the sticky issue or not, I agree with the part in bold. Far better to be civilised, after all civility costs nothing. The joke thread did lighten the mood a bit, although I rarely used it.
Sorry Swim, I've always got on with you but your attitude smacks of a little kid who can't get his way throwing a poody. I can't understand why you have a problem with this. Face facts - not everyone wants or likes it. "Cultivating a thread" suggests you need to get out more, mate. If people want them they can stay. If not they go. Probably be something in between.
