Going to be a bit hard for Sinclair to stay now ... after his lady friend's ill advised tweets toward Wales !!

Looks like she's driving the move to Manchester, Sinclair needs to sort her boredom out, she looks like she's got good child bearing hips, that'll sort her boredom out!............... <cheers>

I'm afraid Scott's at a point in his life where he doesn't smoke ... doesn't drink ... And he makes his own dresses , cause his trousers are being used IMO !

The downside of this story is that Adam Johnson will be playing for Sunderland against us next week.

I wonder how many on here would turn down the chance of tripling their wages and a 2m signing on fee. Most people would happily keep the bench warm for that money. But maybe Sinclair thinks he's good enough to play regularly. May be his only chance of playing in the Champions League. He'd be stupid to turn it down.

One reason that many people fail in life is because they're to frightened to try a new challenge. Sometimes you have to give things a go. Sometime you'll fail, but that's much better than being too frightened to at least give it a go. I know many people with that mentality, and it's sad to say, but most are from Swansea/South Wales.

So good on Scott for taking this opportunity. I wish him well.

Perhaps they make decisions together. Nothing wrong with that.

I honestly can't fathom this transfer. I've watched about 15 swans games last season and I wasn't that impressed with him. Great pace and great action but his crossing and finishing are very poor. In my opinion I think Routledge and Dyer are way better than him.

I get the feeling that Sinclair wants Man City more than Man City wants Sinclair. No way in the world he is good enough to start, he will be stuck on the bench and brought on if/when a 'plan-b' is needed. IMO he's out of his depth and I can't see it ending happily.

If and when he does go we should thank him.

Signed for peanuts, helped us to win promotion, a few valuable goals last season and now £6M in the bank. Happy days indeed and I for one would give him a round of applause on his return to the Liberty.

Not sure about the six million in the bank as with all transfers i wonder how much Chelsea will get..

I,m not bothered on Scott leaving and he's done us proud as his goals has got us to the PL so no hard feelings from me,But i still cant get my head around why Man City would want him..

He gave it a go at Chelsea. Look at how that turned out for him, ended up having to drop a division just to get regular football which he so craved apparently. He has regular football but for some reason wants to go back to the bench warming days.

Chelsea get 10% apparently.
Whether we think he is good enough for the champions or not is neither here nor there. The fact remains as a professional footballer he must feel he has got something to offer especially as City have come in for him. He is obviously ambitious and with ambition he must think he has the talent. Good luck to him I say and thanks for everything he has done for us. I too will appalud him on his return.

Absolutely! I think that Scott should be given a standing ovation on his return in appreciation of the contribution he has made for us. And the same goes for Joe.

The problem with his return, it ain't going to happen as he won't even make the bench. Not being nasty here but Man City have better players its that simple

Man City are buying him to boost the number of English players in their squad. Scott wants to go to Manchester for obvious reasons, not necessarily football related. On merit he is unlikely to get regular first team football, but he is obviously prepared to sacrifice that. (As it stands he is not guaranteed a start with us!)

Rio tweeted

Rio Ferdinand ‏@rio5ferdy
Scott Sinclair wants to trade working for a living at Swansea for sitting on a bench and getting paid at Citeh. #brokenbritain
