    just picked this up from the Maine Blue Board. Not sure if you can read anything into it but it could be positive for us.

    Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants to add at least two new faces before the window shuts but Adam Johnson will not be one of them.

    The Reds boss is still hoping to land a couple of unnamed targets but reports this week that he was ready to offer £10 million for Johnson appear to be wide of the mark. Sunderland lead the chase for Johnson but Spurs are also linked.

    Just heard the tail end of something on the radio about us getting a player for just over £6million and the news first broke on sunday....Johnson?
