I blame Dalglish, and I blame Dalglish that we are in the Europa in the first place. I would use the 35 million to hire Dalglish, fly him to Cinci, fire him, and then send him back.
Just posted this in another thread... hadn't noticed the official match thread... Just a punt... but I am guessing... --------------------------------------- Reina ------------------------------------- Kelly--------------- Coates----------------------- Agger---------------Robinson ----------------------------Spearing----------Adam------------------------------- --------------------------------------Shelvey--------------------------------------- Henderson--------------------------Carroll----------------------------- Sterling Basically all change from the weekend with only Reina, Agger and Kelly retaining their places. Agger will be suspended against City and Kelly is likely to be dropped in favour of Johnson coming in at right back at the weekend (with Enrique fit again at left back) so it makes sense to play them tonight. Otherwise it's the fringe team. I imagine Coates gets the nod ahead of Carra, as Carra's experience will be needed versus City... Robinson to get a rare chance at left back... Shelvey in the "Gerrard" role... and Henderson/Sterling playing wide of Carroll. I know Henderson is not a true winger and was pretty poor on the right-hand side last year, but can see him getting the nod tonight so Rodgers can take a look at him in the role - believe it or not, his successful cross ratio was exceptional at Sunderland. Any thoughts?
You could halve it by buying shares in Facebook. Then again, we've done that with Andy Carroll anyway...
Here's my suggestion. Reina Kelly Carragher Coates Robinson Lucas Shelvey Henderson Borini Carroll Sterling.
Surely Agger will play? He's in the squad isn't he? EDIT: I'd like to see Borini too, he looks like he runs on Duracell so he won't tire, and a goal would do him good.
Also (from LFC.TV) No team has scored more than one goal in a European game against Liverpool in the last 19 matches since Benfica scored twice in April 2010. The Reds have conceded just five goals in their last 16 European games home and away.
Rooneys hair has been treated for rabies amongst other things. What else would expect when someone has roadkill on their head?
