    York 3.40 Shirocco Star 9/1

Richard Hughes was tailor-made for this filly, travels like a dream and you just push the button, she is disrespected in the betting as always but I think she will run another big race and she deserves to win one this season.

As a back to lay, she is money in the bank, I doubt anything will be going better than her 2 out and you can lay off at short odds.

I agree joe, am on her to at that price. She is one of the most consisitent sort in the race and has beaten the top two in the market aswell. The french horse is the intresting one in the race, I dont no much about her cept for coming 2nd inthe arc so have left her well alone, but from what I have researched if she can refind that form she will be thereabouts! b

Im going for the buick / Gosden combination tomorrow:
2:00 Blessington, an improving animal who did the job nicely at Goodwood and must be thought of in quite high regard since he is entered in both the middle park and the mill reef. It has also already been backed tonight.
2.30 newfangled. I think this is the most exciting 2yo so far this season whether that be a filly or a colt, she is bursting with talent and i fully expect her to win this race in fine style.

Newfangled will win, the Albany was a weak race and she obviously handles a bit of cut but she wont be beaten today, Badr Al Badoor will chase her home.

    17:20 Cartmel - Molaise Lad

(With the York festival going on, a seller at Cartmel is almost impolite, but I do think selection is well capable of taking this. Having a small dabble. Will sit back and enjoy the York races on Channel 4 without having a bet. The Yorkshire Oaks looks a real cracker).

Riot of colour in the last at york 7/1

Also like Kylachy storm in the 2.20 at bath.

York is always tricky but was a great day there yesterday. Opening race looks difficult but quite fancy a bit of Liber each way.

    Afternoon All

I'll be interested to see if ROTO has a view on the chances of Mike Murphy's Night Lily which is attracting support in the last. I'm a bit surprised to see Shesastar languishing unloved in the betting. The 18/1 at BetVictor seems a very big price.

Afternoon all. Shareta in the yorkshire Oaks for me - if we try hard enough the forum can cover the enitre field! Also backed Andereigo in the 3PM.

I see Frankel's quoted at 1/2 in the Arc when there's probably less chance of that happening than Liverpool playing the Champions league this season <yikes>

Alright folks, hope everyone is still buzzing from yesterday. Gonna throw another into the ring for the Oaks in thye sahpe of Bible Belt as she'll love the firmer going and is not as far behind as the betting suggests. 14-1 is decent.

Also imperial djay is consistently overlooked in these contests (3.05) and to be fair he does seem better at tighter tracks, but at 40-1 i am willing to take a chance. He has been 3rd and 4th in two appearances at York, one very recently, and is on a mark of 94 having been 93 when he last won. There are bound to be improvers here but that is more than reflected in his price and I will not resist a poke at those odds.

    Good luck all

So the BHA still won't push Frankel above 140 (Dancing Brave is 141). You have to wonder if he'll make it now.

Hope you had a good day yesterday Dan, looked out for you all but to be honest an internet impression of what people look like isnt very useful, as there were drunken fat lads all over the place  <ok>
