Seems to work though. Fletcher handed in a transfer request last night so looks like he's off to Wearside.
Wolves have tuirned down £12m as it doesn't meet theoir valuation. Hope they know what they are doing!
But Chamberlain had huge potential, whereas Fletcher was an average striker who was on a bit of form in the middle of the season. Also, we don't need the money, Wolves aren't exactly rich are they?
The transfer window is about to close...any team would be wary of ending up with money in the bank but no one to spend it on.
Other Fletcher news, Darren made a substitute appearance for ManU at a testimonial in Aberdeen tonight. Good luck to him.
Bumped http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19256084# Looks like it's a done deal. £12m they are having a laugh.
Wolves have shown how to do business when you go down. Just wait until the buying clubs get more and more desperate. The money they are getting for Fletcher (and now Jarvis) is totally astounding.
So do I. People need to realise the transfer market and player values aren't the same as they were a couple of years ago.
