MH: Very Happy: Cisse, Diakite, Hoillet, Taiwo. Immensely Unhappy: Green. Neutral: The Rest. Colin: Very Happy: Adel, Mackie, Clint, Derry, HH, Paddy, Traore. Unhappy: Barton. Neutral: The Rest. COLIN wins.
Green is going to be a great signing, back him. It makes no sense to do otherwise. If the LR faithful get behind him and get his confidence back then we've got ourselves a keeper.
He's had about 20 games hasn't he! Bout time MH pulls his fingers out and gets in some Class. Colin beat him stone cold with a tiny fraction of the millions of £, and rapidly multiplying staff, that MH has had available to play with. MH contacts all over Europe, my *rse!
Oz, I meant we haven't had time to see how good or sh*t this season's signings are yet. Surely its a bit early to judge them after one game? As for Hughes he's had plenty time to be judged and so far, as far as I can see, COLIN is a better Manager.
We're all only human Swords, Rob Green is deffo a step up from that fat twat Kenny who has showed his true colours. Get behind Green I say! Let him rejoice in the LR faithful.
Far too early to say. Midway through last season our needs were very different to what they are now. I'm unconvinced by Fabio from what I've seen of him on Saturday and in the past for United. I really liked Taiwo who maybe wasn't the best technically but he'd kick a winger if needed and wasn't the sort that other teams like playing against. With a player like Fabio, for all his talent, as an opposition player you fancy your chances against him one way or another. We'll never know what would have happened had Warnock stayed but I personally think we would have gone down with games to spare. That MK Dons game was as clear an indication that a group of players didn't give a **** as I've ever seen in 15+ years.
Yeh, OK, if it's only the summer signings you are right, but he hasn't really signed anyone this summer we don't already know a lot about.
When asked "what do you think the impact of the French Revolution was" Mao Tse Tung replied "it's too soon to say". But he was a murdering sociopath so we shouldn't pay any attention to that. Otherwise what Watford said.
Very good post that. Although it must be remembered that Hughes got to spend a wad of cash in Jan whereas COLIN didn't. I think COLIN would've scraped us up just like Hughes did except he'd probably have done it the other way around i.e. beat the sh*t teams and lose to the good teams. So far, the jury is still very much out on Hughes as far as I'm concerned. I haven't been overly impressed to date.
Sorry mate i can't agree.Green is shot to ****,i never rated him before the World Cup incident but since it he's got even worse. The guy's a ****ing liability, his handlings awful, his distribution terrible,he's **** at coming for crosses and as for dealing with tame shots from distance, well we already know the answer to that one.In this division it's imperitive you have a top keeper who saves you points not fritters them away.I'm all for getting behind any of our players but look what happened when we did that with that **** Barton!I'm afraid that Green will cost us many more games as the season unfurls, and these are points we simply can't afford to toss away.
Well now, hopefully with Bosingwa, Dawson & Carvalho backed all on board, the only thing green needs to do is take the goal kicks. COYRsssssssss
Of this seasons arrivals, I am happy with Park, Hoilett and Diakite. Dawson - if he signs OK with AJ, Green and Bosingwa. Carvalho - if he signs. Not too happy with Fabio, just don't rate him and think he has a temper and will cost us from a disciplinary point of view.
Happy with all of MH signings because we needed them. A cut above anything we had. Even Green and Fabio, as **** as they may seem at the moment, improve the squad. Would other players have been better? We will never know.
