No real surprise here. If he does go,then he takes with him the best wishes of most Swansea City fans, including me.

Best wishes indeed. But it is not certain that he is going - all we've done is follow through on what ML has been preaching since he arrived - it's up to what the player wants. I am presuming that ML has told Dobbie where he stands in the squad and the club has now made it possible for Dobbie to explore alternatives. He may decide to stay and battle it out, or he may decide to go, but he gets to decide which is putting the player first.

Good luck to Dobs. Even though it was very much a team effort, he and Sinclair were the two pivotal players in our promotion imo.

I know the debate has been done but I still believe that we'll never satisfy our own curiosity as to whether he was good enough at this level. He wasn't given enough of an opportunity under Rodgers for sure, but if he's not going to figure under Laudrup then we have to respect that and wish him well. He clearly wants to play football and not warm a bench so he probably will go, and for that he deserves enormous praise.

Thanks for the memories, Stephen. <applause>

Good luck and thanks to Dobbs. Will forever treasure his performance at Wembley for what it meant for us - his assist and then that superb goal. Wish him every success and good fortune at his new club.

Its a pity he never got the chance to show what he can do really under Rodgers...good luck to him at Blackpool if he goes...

I'm hearing a fee of £300k being bandied around. How ridiculous is that? We might as well keep him for that sort of money!! Can't believe that's right and I hope we get at least a million for him with add ons if the buying team get promoted.

£300.000 is peanuts and if they get him for that then they will come close to us for having the deal of the season with allen....he is worth more than that surely...

Dobbie signing is hitting a snag at Blackpool because of wage demands ,
