He was playing LB for real during pre-season apparently. Given Santos' current legal troubles, Nuri could be very useful.
Can you imagine if we signed Sahin and Kaka!! Our midfield would be the most skillfull and creative midfield in the league by far lol AW has tried to get Kaka on loan previously hasn't he? When it looked like he was surplus to requirements at Real a year or two ago? Maybe he has become available again and AW has decided its a good way to spend £24million - to cover Kaka's wages! I doubt there is anything in it but Kaka is a player i would love to see at Arsenal - he was the guy i wanted to relace Fabregas!
Games we need to pack the midfield and stay tight: -----Sahin---Arteta---- Cazorla-----Kaka----Wilshere ----------Giroud-------- Open Games: ---Wilshere---Arteta---- ---------Kaka-------- Cazorla--------Walcott ---------Podolski------- I could have fun all night thinking of Arsenal first team combinations with our midfield players lol - particularly if we added Kaka... Ah to dream..
He's my Arsenal dream signing - the first one i make on FM! Really though i don't expect it to happen. He is however not getting any younger and if his days at RM are over it's likely he will be taking a pay cut wherever he goes (unless PSG/City come in for him).
Looks like the Sahin deal has finally gone through. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2191666/Arsenal-sign-Nuri-Sahin.html
According to the Fail, the snag in the deal was that Real wanted a fixed price of £14m if we had the option to buy and that a compromise had been reached, suggesting that we have negotiated a lower price and an option to buy. This isn't congruent with the popular theory that the snag was over us wanting an option to buy and Real simply wanting a loan. Looks like we tried to sign Mirallas http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19336519 We could still be in for another striker
even if there is no option to buy afaik the player could still force a move if he still thinks he doesn't have enough opportunity to play at RM, at the end of the loan spell. Sent from a mobile device.
Sahin has beeen announced. BOOOOOMMMM best signing of the Summer. ....actually not on Arsenal.com yet... most sources are saying.... AW has secured the signature of Nuri Sahin after stalling over a £14m buy out clause should we decide to make his loan deal permanent next summer. Sportsmail revealed on Tuesday how the deal for the Madrid midfielder had hit a snag as Madrid wanted a fixed price of £14m attached to the deal if Arsenal decide to take up the option of signing the Turkey midfielder once his loan ends. Read more at http://justarsenal.com/arsenal-sign...erfeed&utm_medium=twitter#xTUcw54vDB8pbqrP.99 Basically Mourinho wanted to make sure we did'nt snap him up on the cheap after his loan ends - I however think 14 million would be a bargain should we decide to buy him.(which seems highly likley)
This is a photo of Sahin susposedly taken this morning of him training with Madrid https://twitter.com/JLSanchez78/status/238199994874728448/photo/1
Strange if true. But that looks more like Callejon than Sahin. BBC and Skysports are reporting its done just needs to be formalised.
I heard from that spanish guy Ballague on SSN that Jose Mourinho doesnt even want Sahin as he apparently doesnt match their style of play well enough.. Im a little Surprised that Wenger isnt shoving a permanent bid on the table.. (and i know it is not really relevant but on FIFA12 after like 5 seasons Sahin becomes one of the best players on the game).
