"Rat-boy" seems extreme, Dilli but you're entitled to your opinion. <laugh>

I just think that he never comes across as biased. Other pundits like Phil Thompson always say "we" when referring to Liverpool and I can't stand that. In fairness, you never hear Neville or Shearer say that when referring to Man U or Toon. I'm no Manu U fan, far from it, but speak as you find when Neville expresses a footballing opinion, I listen - even if I disagree.

Btw Stereo, I like your reference to Life of Brian in your signature. Bet not many people spot that. <ok>

Haha it is one of the lesser used quotes from that film but possibly my favourite scene. Classic.

How can anyone like Neville after this

The most cringe-worthy commentator moment in history!

Did we really need to hear what Neville sounds like when he has an orgasm

I like him. Unbiased, unlike a lot of them, and he talks alot of sense..

Cracker - Over rated? As NJ said, you don't stay at United for that long if you havn't got it. He was a rock in defense back in the day of the Giggs, Scholes era. Reminds me of our Taylor, apart from the attacking side of things. Goes about his work without the fancy crap and moaning.

Boss: I thought that piece of footage was one of football's classics and think he endeared himself to a lot of people. It's what football is about - emotion. Nothing to do with you being a Spurs fan, right? <laugh>

I agree KJ, I love it when people show emotions - would you prefer the stiff upper lip commentating of the 50's etc ?

Best moment for me was Danny Kelly's "I love football Stan I love it" when Spurs got the equaliser for 4 all a few seasons ago. Yes he was biased but I totally understand his explosive reaction - I have no problem with people being biased to the team they support in situations like that. It was joy to listen to.

Weird reaction though Cracker, whilst I respect your opinion. Even though I'm no lover of Man U, as a football fan I can respect the fact that he played at the top of the profession for years and won loads of medals. In my book you don't get to do that if you're crap.

As for his punditry that's more open to debate. Like I say, I think he's very good. And I thought that last season before Laudrup even arrived here.

Like you say, all about opinions. <ok>

Steady on!......here was me having Swansea fans down as a classy decent bunch and now i'm getting digs for being a spurs fan!!

Emotion is great but Neville doesn't have the voice, he is highly irritating and grates at me, can't stand the guy one bit...I hope I'm allowed that opinion, even as a spurs fan
