    The BBC sports reporter Phil McNulty has tweeted that Wolves are ready to accept our 12 million offer for Fletcher, time will tell.:smiley:

    What a couple of nice signings they would make for us Vince? Add Defoe, a left back and I think we would be set for the run in to January. Lol

    12M for Fletcher is a rip off he's not worth half of that..Gutted if we sign him.

    I'd be happy if we get Johnson quality player

    The Saha deal will be what has turned Wolves around IMO. Moxey was holding out hoping for this to be our only deal and we signed someone making it less urgent. Well done SAFC for this.

    Him & Johnson would be great signings. As Cest says, add a left back and I'll be happy

    I think you will be pleasantly surprised mate. When he starts to score and leads the line like a proper centre forward, bringing in other players around him, you'll forget the price tag.

    There's a couple of Wolves fans down here who say they'll be happy to see the back of him apart from being good at headers he offers very little else to the team and they say he is very lazy.

    IF he signs he's got my support.

    <ok>

    If Fletcher was Black, spent a couple of seasons in ac milan reserves and had been found by wolves, performed in the same manner last season, and Sunderland had bid 12 million, you would all be saying "there's abit of class we need and he will do even better with us"

    Don't quite know what difference his skin colour would make? Bit unusual to hear that mate.

    Was just painting a picture that because fletcher looks like this dour white scottish guy that reaks of average ability (going by the comments) that if he was some foreign lad with the same ability then there wouldn't be so much negativity.

    Skin colour isn't important, just added it in there for effect :biggrin:
