He's in for talks today... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2191706/Stephane-Mbia-hold-talks-QPR.html
For the sake of my sanity, I am choosing to believe that all this activity re the defence was part of MH's plan and not a reaction to one bad game!
Yes please, £4.5m well spent, i'm a bit concerned with the fee for Dawson, keep hearing £10m quoted, hope its nearer the £5.5m
Dawson and Mbia sound like very good additions. In a perfect world, they would have spent the pre-season with us. And, in that perfect world, we wouldn't have lost 0-5 to Swansea. And....
Am I right in thinking that M'Bia was initially a defensive midfielder? Based on the performance against Swansea he might possible be used as the lynchpin of the midfield at least until Ale Faurlin is fit enough to start, freeing up the likes of Diakite and Park to play their more natural game? So a possible XI for Norwich if the signings come off: Green Bosingwa, Onuoha, Dawson, Fabio Park, M'Bia, Diakite, Hoilett Taarabt, Zamora I'd love Cisse to play, but I expect Zamora to be involved as a target man in the upcoming games against Man City, Chelsea and Spurs so wouldn't be surprised to see him at Carrow Road. The other option is to drop Taarabt and play Cisse from the right in a 4-3-3
M'bia is a quality player definitely one of the best defenders in France although i still have doubts whether we'll sign both him and dawson, dawson seems much more likely IMO
Now to me that looks like a serious side , do much more balanced , prob would start Cisse instaed of Tarbs , i thought he had a shocker on Sat .
I think he is a better Defensive midfielder ... maybe its timing TF said that we were about to sign other players and a lot of business can't be done until the beginning of the season as most people are on sun beds in Corsica
M'bia sounds a good buy if we can get him - we need a solid CDM bad and that he can also play CB is another big plus.
That would be a sight to behold. Frankly if he's French African that's good enough for me. I am thinking of setting up a finishing school in Guinea Bissau which seems about the only untapped market. PM me if you want to invest, this could be the next Apple.
