    Shwan is dying nside, all the laughing after every comment only exposes his pain. I agree united always start slow but how much time do they really have to gel if they are to be crowned champions. City looked gritty and up for it. I guess that's what winning a prem title can do for you. I've said it once and I'll say it again one great signing does not make you champions. Thank you very much for the 24 mill!

    It's remarkable how every single United fan, when questioned, claims they were born in Stretford, or their father played for United, or they once got off a train in Manchester etc... There must be a maternity wing at Old Trafford. All they are (95% of them at least) are the kids in the playground who used to suck up to the bully because it made them feel big.

    Was it just me that cheered when RVP took the corner as soon as he came on?
    Yes he is left footed so he can hit in swinging corners from the right but he is awful at corners (and not terrible in the air). This used to piss me off, now it makes me smile!

    Of course, I'm acutely aware that RVP is likely to score at some point for Stretford, so for any whining mancs, lurking spuds or trolling wums waiting for him score so that they can come back on this thread and wum, please be aware that this thread relates to the opening defeat against Everton and thus any comments referring to other games will be treated with the ridicule and disdain they deserve

    (unless he ends up on the losing side again of course <ok>)
